Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Columbus

This place allows employees to bring their toddlers in the area they cook and prepare food, I am concerned, this is very dangerous. I frequent this location a few times a month my grandmother loves their donuts and sandwiches so I’ve always been polite and respectful to every employee. I see them regularly unfortunately last week I ordered my usual, bacon cheese croissant extra crispy bacon but was given egg and politely asked for a sandwich without egg and the young lady seemed annoyed even after I told her my grandmother is allergic. She didn’t take the sandwich back when handed to her and closed the window. When she came back with the sandwich the young lady says she needs the other sandwich. Gave it to her with no problem. As I checked the other sandwich I see the bacon is not fully cooked so I sit for a minute trying to get someone’s attention eventually beeping the horn no one comes to the window. I look again to see the women holding a little girl about 1 or 2 years of age in the area they prepare food. I beep the horn again a few seconds later the woman comes to the window aggressively as I tell her the bacon wasn’t crispy like the other sandwich she slams the window in my face and is cussing so loud I could hear her through the window. A minute later another employee hands me a side of fully cooked bacon at this time I’m calling corporate and waiting on hold very upset and astonished at what just transpired I pull off. Once i finally got in contact with someone I told them everything and requested to be contacted immediately. It has been a week and no call. I'm currently new to the area, and EVERYTIME I visit this location my order is either cold or wrong! Today the store manager made my order incorrectly, twice! Her response to my frustration was "go to a different location." She made a lot of sense. Thanks

September 11th, 2023 So I gave this place another shot, for the last 2 months. The atmosphere has changed drastically! I can appreciate the ability to make corrective action and stick to it consistently. My heart was warmed this morning, it makes me proud to be apart of this community. Went to get food and my order was made incorrectly which prompted me to ask for it to be remade. That upset two of the employees and I stated “that is part of the job description I don’t know why you’re upset.” TONY then proceeds to slam the window in my face causing an argument in which he called me several slur names, including “black bi.ch”. He also told me that I am lucky that I am a female or what he would do to me. I will say that there was one employee who understood my frustration and tried to calm Tony but he just kept going.
