We put in a catering order for a family birthday at home on Sunday. We went for a taco bar feel, with two different meats (el pastor and chicken tinga) , fresh-pressed tortillas, toppings, chips, queso, guac, and all the salsas. We threw some fresh tamales in there at pick-up. My family was over-the-top excited with this spread. Specifically, my adult sons who said the tortillas, salsas, and queso were "next level". The salsas became the topic of conversation for specifically which was hottest, followed by the standard flexing of who could handle the hottest (Diablo). For sure, everyone recognized how fresh and different these salsas are than the standard taco truck or Mexican restaurant. The el pastor and chicken tinga were juicy and flavorful, which for catered meats is sometimes hard to achieve once you get it home. We tried them with different salsas and flavor combinations, which made for a diverse taste experience. The tortillas were literally being pressed and sealed up in packets as we were picking up the order--yes, they are that fresh. They held up to the loads of meat and toppings we put on them, even up to an hour or two later. The tamales were chicken and green chili, with the masa-forward taste on most bites. I tried dipping mine in all the different salsas, and it was so dang good with each and every one. Don't make me pick a favorite. Everyone agreed this is now the go-to meal for family meals if we are ordering in. Thanks...

There's literally something for everyone on the menu: for carnivores, vegans, spice-lovers, and anyone who loves home-cooked Mexican food with a twist - everyone will fall in love with MASA. Talk about a BLAST of flavor. MASA's specialty is definitely their handmade corn tortillas, but HAVE YOU TRIED THEIR SALSAS?!?!?! They have two uber-unique salsas that will blow your taste buds. Their standard green and red salsas are super tasty (and significantly better than other places around town) but WOW... "Salsa Ilegal" and "Salsa Mas Chingon"... I would literally drink these salsas if I could. (Rumor has it that they will be selling their salsas in large-format bottles soon). I love the fact that it's a family run place, and that Chef Ivan has been working so hard to finally open his OWN brick-and-morter location after decades of managing other people's restaurants. His story is great, the food is awesome, and the whole MASA family is a pleasure to watch and engage with as they make your food (literally HANDMADE tortillas right in front of your eyes!) I can't wait to go back again for their...

Would really like to see the East Market succeed and I hope this stall is one of the missing puzzle pieces. Some of the best tacos I've had since I lived in Pilsen, Chicago. I appreciate the full commitment to corn tortillas and I was so impressed that they were made to order. The tortillas really are perfect - you owe it to yourself to try them, especially if you don't like the store-bought corn variety. The owner Iván was charming and charismatic, he hooked it up with all the salsas and gave my daughter a free side of rice - which was perfectly seasoned. The salsas are more subtle than I was expecting, definitely more attention paid to the sweetness of the peppers rather than the heat. The Chingon sauce just looks wonderful, it's fragrant and doesn't suffocate the rest of the dish. Really excited to come back for the Birria.

Throwing up five stars because I'm excited to see what else they have in store. Wonderful addition to...

Another disappointment on my quest to find the best birra in Central ohio. The quality of ingredients is high. The fresh tortillas and quality beef really carry the food here. Queso tacos- 3/5 fresh tortillas and queso are good but the portions are more than disappointing at $15. Birra- 3/5 this was delicious but tasted very watered down. The beef was great with many large chunks though it didn't taste like it was seasoned outside of the consume. Also a lack of fresh onion on top really took this down a notch. PICKED ONIONS- 1/5 as someone who loves pickled onions and makes them often. I was outright shocked that they where made like picked beets eggs and not thinly sliced whatsoever. This really threw off the entire meal. This all being said. This was a decent meal. The food is quality even if its lacking in a few areas. And if the price was slightly lower I would even make this a normal stop if it was more around the $10-12 range.
