Another episode of "which was worse?": The coffee, or the service? The staff are 2013 Brandy Melville levels of nonplussed to be there, and they let you know it. It's important to disclose at this point that they were not busy and my coffee order is extremely simple (hot latte, no flavoring). First of all a large is practically a pup cup from a chain. Second, it was not good, at all, like I never throw away coffee I've paid for even if it sucks, and I threw the whole latte away. I have to side with other reviewers here, there's a hygiene and/or cross contamination issue here, since my plain latte tasted like several different flavors at once, I'm guessing they aren't cleaning and sanitizing properly. Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Columbus. Ray is unquestionably one of the best baristas in the city, and easily one of the best I've met.

What separates Ray's approach from other coffee shops is that he isn't afraid to experiment and perfect his craft. He sources high quality coffee from a variety of highly respected roasters, and he and his team handle every order with exceptional care and attention to detail. Everyone is friendly and pleasant to talk to, and they're not afraid to help guide customers along their personal journeys to make better coffee and tea at home.
