Library was very quiet on a weekday afternoon. Lot is a bit small but we had no troubles parking with a smaller hatchback SUV. Staff is friendly and was welcoming in spite of having their quiet interrupted by two toddlers! I came to take my son to the children’s area. There were a variety of toys including a table and stools, blocks, large colored scarves, a small play kitchen, and baskets of board books. The real draw is their outdoor play yard, with a gorgeous old-growth tree, flat grassy area, benches, kid-height garden beds, and musical chime installations. It’s all fenced in, so no worries about the little ones running off into the street. There isn’t a play structure or toys out there, but the toddler didn’t need them. Read moreIs there some reason the library in the ghetto is open less than 8 hours a day? 9:30 and 11am open times are incredibly oppressive and closing at 5:30 is honestly a cruel joke. As a kid the only escape I had was to my local library but I guess poor kids don't deserve resources or a quiet place to study... Commerce city should be ashamed of itself.

Read moreBeautiful library. The staff is loud. This is the first library I’ve ever been in where you’re told where you’re aloud to sit. Each section is only for specific age groups and if you don’t fit the bill you can’t sit at the table in that area. There’s a monitor just waiting to tell people to go sit somewhere else. I was harassed two times. If it’s a policy why isn’t it posted? I enjoy going to Anythink Libraries but this one is a no and I will not...
