Tasty Donuts — Restaurant in Commerce City

Wow. So my boyfriend and I have passed this place hundreds of times, and even tried to get doughnuts here but we were always late. Like just after closing. But today. YES TODAY WAS THE DAY! I HAVE TRIUMPHD! I rolled up at 8:45. The wait was worth it and.... well let's be honest we can all spot that hole in the wall. You know the one. No frills, no pomp, just putting all the love into the craft. The hole in the walls that become "your spot" . as I waited in line my heart began to get excited, having read the reviews I knew I would be lucky to find any of my favorite go to verietys like the "bear claw" . dozen doughnuts later I had some guilty please because it was about 1/2 of what she had left. We laughed after verifying how many dhougnuts were in the box. She was absolutely delightful. Now back on topic. The doughnuts. Are massive. I MEAN HUGE! Her chocolate glazed cream filled..... well that's my new girlfriend for bad days. I'll be stocking up. the butterfly is crispy with a touch of cinnimon, and silky sweet icing to rival Krispy crack . But it's better WAY BETTER. Truly it reminds me of the doughnut shops in Texas. I will be making an extra effort sometime soon to wake up just so I can order at opening. In the mean time I'm going to binge on this box of doughnuts, all day, till I'm sick, or I'm discovered by the boyfriend hahahaha. In the event of that I'll just have to cry since he will run away to binge on...

I've heard rave reviews about this doughnut shop and I just had to try them out. So my son's new day care is just a block away and so there was the perfect excuse. The lady was so friendly and there were quite a few working men inside enjoying their morning coffee and treat. They were mostlikely regulars. I picked half a dozen. I told her I had heard such great things about her doughnuts and this was my first time in to try them. She gave me one doughnut for free, her most popular she said, the apple fritter. I waited until I got home to take my first bite of the crumb doughnut. 😍😍😍😍😍 SERIOUSLY the best doughnut I've ever bitten. It was just heaven in my mouth. I was in doughnut shock! I just kept being like mmmmm mmmmm mmmm this is amazing. Every doughnut I tried was just soo good. Yes, I tried them all after how good the first was was! I can not wait to go back. It is a good and bad thing I have to drop my boy off just one block away now. It will ne hard to exercise self control with these doughnuts. So I wanted to write a review and let a lot of people know. Although she did say she sells out by nine in the morning most days. So letting more people know will make her sell out faster. Soo maybe I shouldn't have written this review... Ohwell....

Unless you are willing to get your tired self over quickly before all the donuts are gone than there is a small chance you will get anything in all honesty. They sell out very quickly, for good reasons. Staff are awesome! Very friendly and efficient. The food is not only priced very fairly and low but also is delicious and unique in many ways. While I wouldn't recommend eating inside there is still seating and a nice environment. If your looking for a Starbucks vibe though than nothing about this place will meet your wishes. Long story short, get there early, get over that it's in a kinda sketchy neighborhood, and you will have the donuts of your life for the best price you can find. If your looking for a meticulously clean, cozy environment, than don't even look into this place. I highly recommend this place to all ages as donuts are great for everyone! NOTE- they do...
