Hair Saloon — Attraction in Concord

Appointment was for 7:40, arrived 7:30, waited until 7:50 to be called back. Stylist was very apologetic about my wait. Blamed a previous customer for repeatedly requesting her to cut his hair shorter. Apologized so many times it got to be annoying. Offered a free scalp massage or neck shave to “make up” for my wait. I opted for a neck shave, which she never gave me. I asked her to take about a half inch off my hair, she took off at least twice that, WAY shorter than I would’ve ever wanted. She asked if I wanted my sideburns trimmed, I asked her to take them to about mid-ear, right at the ear hole. She chopped them off a good 3/4” above that. Hair cut was not bad looking, just way shorter than I wanted and not at all what asked for. Frankly, one star is a generous rating but “no stars” is not an option. After almost a year I finally grew my hair out long enough for a middle part and went in excited to get it cleaned up and looking sharp. She absolutely butchered it. I don’t know anything about cutting hair and most of my experience has been with sports clips but my stylist handled her tools like they brought in a stranger off the street. It looks like I gave myself a haircut with a dull butter knife. To be fair I know they do have good stylists there so if you’re coming in and don’t have a regular you see it’s a complete toss up. I have been searching for a place that could cut my hair like I wanted. It’s a high-n-tight cut similar to my time in the USMC. I searched on line and Hair Saloon for men came up. I decided to give it a try. I mean I have had numerous bad cuts for a long time and the only difference between a good haircut and a bad one is about two weeks. As soon as you walk in your greeted with a friendly hello. The women behind the counter was very nice. I asked her right from the start if anyone knows what a high n tight was and she quickly with no hesitation said “oh yes a military cut”. Amy cut my hair.
