I cannot believe I have to give this place 1 star to be able to leave this post. Today is November 2, 2017 I went to this location in the 5 o'clock hour I would actually give the specific time except for the fact they know how surly their manager is at least I'm assuming she's the manager. All I know 100% is I pulled into that drive-thru and was giving my order the same way that I would at the Jack In The Box by my house when I was treated rudely. When I go to the Jack in the Box by my house I have had to explain exactly what plain burger means, now I understand she you what plain meant but of course the woman taking my order had to be rude not thinking that there might be people out there less intelligent than her. She failed to realize the fact that she was less intelligent than her own self later on but I shall continue, again at the Jack In The Box by my house any add-on condiments buttermilk ranch ketchup packets they ask you if you want some at the speaker. In an effort to save time thinking that more than one location of this chain of franchises and or company-owned places could actually possibly be the same I tried to tell her to add buttermilk ranch and ketchup packets to the bag she got rude. Now I believe we should not get rude to the people who are preparing our food because they are preparing our food but due to the level of surliness in her speech I of course wasn't going to say anything right then I was having to take food home to my boys so I had to sit there with my mouth shut. I really don't care if this place would give me free food for the rest of my life my children free food for their lives and my grandchildren which aren't even born yet free food for their lives it will be a cold day where the devil lives before I even go to this place to blow my nose on their floor. The only saving grace for this place in this visit was the young man who actually processed the transaction at the window, he was very cordial and quite a nice young gentleman. Then the rude woman popped up in side the window slamming my order onto the counter in two bags complaining about the fact that my order was ordered special order because I don't happen to know what all condiments my children like on burgers. The way I see it is if she is going to get so upset about people making a special order if she is the manager of the place she oughta put up a sign that says no special orders go to some other location or quit the job to be quite honest with you if she is not the person who owns the place she should be FIRED. I have worked in Food Service before I had to help hurry up and fill an order for 32 sandwiches which was not made aware of by the person who took the order. The customer had every reason to be upset which the customer was we apologized and had him out the door with 32 sandwiches special order I wish this stupid phone would capitalize special order in 13 minutes flat. The only complaint I had was at the person who worked the previous shift did not actually put the order on the bulletin board to be made first thing in the morning I did not take it out on the customer for making special orders. If you work in any type of food service I don't care if it's five star dining or just two points of 1 star it doesn't matter what happens you don't ever complain about somebody making a special order. And hopefully this will get back to the ( I really want to call her her a derogatory name) crabby whiny complaining Manatee that I saw slamming my food on the counter. Look at that I did call her a derogatory name, no wait I was wrong I just insulted manatees. To best describe this woman use the first letter of these words Can't Understand Normal Thinking. I really do mean that too because she can't understand normal thinking she needs to understand there are some people who are allergic to ketchup that includes one of my sons and myself both sons and myself also believe that mayonnaise on something hot is disgusting and as far as the mustard I didn't know if either boy would want it so I ordered the burgers...
Read moreI placed an order through the Jack in the Box app. I selected the option for the food to start being made so it would be ready when I got there. They were busy, but not inordinately so. When I got to the window in the drive thru, the person at the window was wearing a uniform shirt that was old, faded, stretched out, and stained. He found my order in the computer, confirmed my name then walked away. I then sat for nearly 10 minutes waiting for my food without a single word as to why.. When I finally got it and I asked why it took so long, the expletive laced response was that they were shorthanded. I understand. I work in customer service and have for upwards of 25 years. Things happen. It isn't going to always run perfectly, and it's understandable. What isn't understandable is not handling it in a professional manner and being angry with a customer for asking what happened.
The mark of a strong business isn't that everything goes right, it's how you handle it when they don't.As I waited, I was never told why there was a delay. There was not even a hint of an apology. When they did finally give me my food, had I not asked about the wait, they wouldn't have said a word to me. Then, when I said that I wasn't happy with the service and I asked to speak to a manager, it turned out the woman with the foul mouth was the manager. There was, again, no apology and certainly no offer to try to make up for the wait. This was during my lunch break, so I was pressed for time. That's the entire reason I ordered online. Anyway, I then asked if there was a corporate number I could call because I was extremely displeased with the service. At that point the manager said she'd give me my money back, but while she did so, she slammed the drive thru window, yelled to the other employees (and other customers) complaining that I was a jerk, etc etc, though she used language that was far stronger than "jerk". She eventually threw the window open slammed my money down in my hand, yelled at me, then promptly slammed the window again.
Generally, I go to Burger King. Overall, I enjoy the food more and the customer service is always excellent. However, today I decided to go to Jack in the Box because a Sourdough Jack sounded really good. Unfortunately, I won't be going back to this store and the other Jack In The Box near me recently closed. So, I guess that's the end of Jack In The Box for me. All of this could have been avoided if someone had just told me that it was going to take a little longer than expected because they were shorthanded. Hopefully someone in charge reads this review and there's some better training that...
Read moreI ordered a Combo Grande Sausage Burrito and substituted bacon for the sausage. Then I got an upcharge for the bacon which I didn't understand and there was no real explanation for the extra money other than that is how it is. When I went to eat my breakfast the Hash Browns were so greasy that it took 3 napkins to soak up the grease before it was edible. Then there's my Burrito well not much to say about it, the bacon was under cooked and not edible at all. So that made the burrito as a whole not edible. I go to call the restaurant and the phone just rings and then goes to a buzz sound like a Fax machine makes. I tried several times with no luck. The best is I spent $8.xx something on a breakfast that the only thing that was good was the soda that I got. I didn't even get a receipt for my meal. I will keep trying to get in touch with a manager. I finally got in touch with the evening manager (Charlene - I think was her name) and explained my situation. She offered a different burrito and I could get a replacement combo the next time I came in. Well I got that replacement burrito combo and it was so small for $8. I could have gotten 2 Burritos from Hardee's or Taco Bell and had better service than I did at Jack in the Box. Won't be going back!!!
I did contact you through the link that you sent me in my...
