William Goodrich Jones State Forest — Attraction in Conroe

If you're looking for some forest trails in the city, this is it. If you're looking for a real park experience go the extra 30 miles to Huntsville. I would definitely visit here if I lived close by to go for a run or walk a dog. The trails close to the parking lot have lots of doggie poo bags at the posts. So theres a lot of poo, but if you walk in further, it turns into a real trail experience where you don't see the neighboring apartments or hear the cars.
