If you’re ever in Conroe, Texas, you have to eat here. I typically avoid breakfast spots because they all feel the same—bland, overhyped, and underwhelming. But this place? This place completely changed my mind. Every single dish I had was cooked perfectly—nothing undercooked, nothing overdone, and absolutely nothing tasted generic. I sat outside on a beautiful 70-degree morning, and the outdoor seating was just right. Comfortable chairs, great atmosphere, and even better food. The eggs benedict were rich and flavorful, the biscuits and gravy were solid (not the best I’ve ever had, but far from bad), and the ham and cheese omelette? Perfectly cooked. So many places mess up something that should be simple, but this was done with care and precision. Oh—and the croissant was fluffy, golden, and straight-up delicious. The service? Top tier. From the greeter—who might’ve been the manager, honestly, with how welcoming he was—to my server Cindy, everything was smooth. Cindy was kind, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. If you go, ask for Cindy—she’ll take care of you. Whether you’re local or just passing through like I was, this is the breakfast spot worth going out of your way for. I’d come back just for that omelette.

I absolutely love the staff so accommodating and sweet. The management is sooo greeting and humble. I love coming for breakfast and lunch but my favorite and must try is the chocolate croissant. It’s to die for! The atmosphere is what keeps me coming back besides the food and staff.

The busser that does not speak English was such a sweetheart. I was a tad bit irked at the fact that the drip coffee took longer than Madam Brioche Coffee, which is espresso based. I asked for not whipped cream on my coffee and they abliged. When I received my drink, it looked like there was bugs or the glass was dirty. I took a sip and confirmed it was either cinnamon or nutmeg. Either way had the cream been on top it would have presented better. My waiter seemed annoyed that I had to remind him about the drop coffee. We didn't see much of him and he seemed more interested in his phone and the female employees than serving us. My beignets were not consistent in size which resulted in varied fry consistency causing the smaller ones to be overcooked and the larger being perfect. My husband loves his food. Also, is honey available for the beingnets? The atmosphere felt a little closterphobic to me. I didn't like how cramped the dining area was.

The service was HORRIBLE. If you go out for Mother’s Day, you are conscious that every place is going to be packed and you will probably have to wait for almost anything, so we were more than understandable about it but almost every person who helped us today were rude and mean to our family. When we got there, nobody asked us how many we were or added us to the wait list. So, we asked one of the servers if he could help us and he said that he would but rudely asked us to get out of the way because he needed to go outside. At that moment we should have left but since all our family was already there we just waited. After waiting for a while two families of 6 that arrived after us got sited so we asked the server and she said that she didn’t knew we were waiting for a table when she was the one that assigned a table for the other families.

After we sat at a small table for 4 (when we were 5) we got water, and the server didn’t ask us if we wanted any drinks or any starters. She came back more than 15 minutes later to take our FOOD order, and she got kind of upset that we wanted some drinks first, but we ended up ordering everything to not waste more time. She never repeated our order, so we just prayed she got everything right. We were wrong. Our drink order was incorrect, but she never came to check on us, so we had to call her to ask her if there was any way we could get what we really ordered. After finally getting our Latte, it was badly made but at this point we didn’t want to say anything else cause we were trying to make a good day for our grandma. We waited more than an hour to get our food and during this hour we never got offer more coffee or water so by the time we got our food, we only had enough water for 2 of us so during our meal we had to share the last glass of water and one napkin between all of us. NOBODY checked on us during the 2 hours we were there. Even when our server was next to us, all the multiple times we tried to call her to place an order to go, she ignored us and never asked us if everything was okay or if we needed anything.

In all this awful mother’s day brunch, I can only say there were 3 good things. 1. The owner was nice when he ran our food to our table (the only good service we got today). 2. The server was bilingual, so she helped my grandma when she needed to order her food. 3. Even if the food took so long, it was pretty good like we were looking for since it was our first time. The food was great but I wouldn’t recommend this place...

First, the positives. The restaurant looks very nice. Clean, spacious with a French vibe. The greeter was also vey helpful too. As I was only there to take out, I could not comment on the table service. I ordered the Western Omelette, which was very good. My g/f ordered 2 items. The Smoked Salmon Delight Bagel & the Almond Croissant. Unfortunately they forgot to include the Almond Croissant in the order & I didn't realize this until I got home 20min later! I called and complained & they did refund the Croissant off my bill and were very apologetic. Still, that was very annoying. Then my g/f became even more annoyed when she discovered that the Salmon Bagel was not toasted as per the menu instructions and had just 2-3 capers! It was a Thursday morning and very quiet. I don't feel these mistakes should occur on a quiet day? There is plenty of time to get the order right. A $40 plus order and only 30% correct! I was hoping to utilize this restaurant as an alternative to The Toasted Yolk or the Another Broken Egg! On this experience, that...
