ALDI — Attraction in Howland Township

First experience in an Aldi's. Quarter in/out for a cart. I didn't find no sanitizing set-up for customers, there may have been one, but I didn't find any. Shopping was different from what I expected, yet products were neatly placed and plentiful. When we went to checkout there was one register open with two customer's beforehand. When our turn came the cashier was just a bit abrupt with us...probably because we didn't know that we needed to bring our grocery cart all the way around to her. Their checkout is where cashier scans food in basket and puts the food back in, then you need to go across to a different counter and bag your food with either paper bags that you may purchase for a dime each or bring your own bags. I think the cashier took it for granted that we've shopped there before and knew the checkout style, which we didn't. All in all I probably won't be back to do...

Very rude cashiers! Was placing a bottle of teryaki sauces on the conveyor belt when the cashier stopped checking out the person in front of me to yell "lay the jars down" she turns to the man and says "I'm not stopping to clean up any broken jars" as if I wasnt standing there, and they laugh. In all my life I have never heard of such a thing, and neither has my mother who worked retail for 30 years. I'm leaving this review because I know Aldi has workers who clean the stores, the man was literally cleaning while I shopped, and we choose are jobs! If you aren't going to be nice don't be a cashier! They keep the cashiers quick cause...

Ample & convenient parking available at this discount priced grocery store. Bring your own grocery bags, or buy reusable totes som there. Bring a quarter if you want to use a cart. Selections of some items vary from week to week but as you enter, you can pick up a current flyer of special items available. (And when you leave the store, you can grab a copy of next week's flyer.) The selection of organic products is limited, but the quality is good & the prices unbeatable! They seem to be slowly expanding their selection of organic products. Definitely be on the lookout for...
