05/12/25Update Much Better
Hello everyone, Following my most recent visit at the Texas Roadhouse in Warren, Oh. my dining experience was less than enjoyable for both my guest and me. Below is the complaint that I sent to Texas Roadhouse pertaining to their lack of respect towards customers looking for a relaxing enjoyable place to eat. Here is my message: Texas Roadhouse Complaint - Tuesday April 1, 2025 at approximately 4:30 P.M. My guest and I visited Texas Roadhouse in Warren, Ohio to have an enjoyable early evening dinner only to find that it wasn't as enjoyable as we anticipated.
I do have to commend Roadhouse for their food quality and friendly staff members although the atmosphere is less than anything comparable to a family dining establishment.
During our visit last evening, I noticed that other patrons weren't able to carry on a conversation with one another due to the fact that "management" finds it necessary to turn the music volume to the level that you would find in a dive bar!
My guest and I were very disgusted with the complete utter disrespect for their customers.
I asked for and spoke with a manager that wouldn't tell me his name after an employee turned the stereo volume to an ear piercing level that caused the customers around me to jump while you could see the disappointment on their face. This "inexperienced" manager informed me that the music volume was turned up to alert employees that a line dance was about to begin and that it would be turned back down in 90 seconds. As promised it was turned back down, but still at a level that customers still couldn't correspond to one another without "screaming" across the table.
As a long time customer service professional for nearly 30 years, I know what people expect and I know how to deliver satisfaction.
There is no reason to have the volume of music turned so high that your guests are disappointed with the way business is conducted, and understand, line dancing has absolutely no place in a family focused restaurant. I know that my friends Chef Ramsay and Mr. Jon Taffer would agree with me that management at the Texas Roadhouse in Niles Ohio have brought their personal partying preference into a place that it doesn't belong.
During my past "multiple" visits I found that the volume of music was a little higher that what it should be in an established designed to offer guests a pleasurable dining experience that would cause them to want to return, and like most patrons I didn't say anything.
Personally, I have no problem dining at one of your competitors' establishment's in which one is a stone's throw away from your Warren location, and the other is about 1/10 of a mile away.
I'm not here to make demands, but I do know that people expect a higher standard of respect that they're not getting at the Texas Roadhouse in Warren Ohio.
If you could please get this out of hand fiasco under control, I would be more than happy to continue to dine at the Texas Roadhouse, and I know that my clients would appreciate it as well.
We'll see how things go during my next visit.
Sincerely Christopher Morris
I did not get a response, so I sent another message in which I received an immediate email which read: "Hello Christopher, Guest Relations ticket GR1205810 has been updated. Guest Notes: 2025-04-16 03:05:43 PM EDT - Suzanne Hi, thank you so much for reaching out regarding our music level. Although we are known for our loud country music, and we do tend to turn it up when it is dance time, we do not want it to cause harm to our guests or make them feel uncomfortable. Your case was sent to the Managing Partner to make sure the volume is monitored throughout the shift being at the correct level and we hope you will consider us in the future. Thank you so much. Regards, Thanks for being a legendary guest!

In closing, I sincerely believe that I am not the only patron that has a problem with music in a "family oriented restaurant" that has the volume turned to an ear piercing level.
We'll see how it goes during...
Read moreThe shift manager was very rude and ignorant. She made it a point to talk about her yrs of expirence and all the things she has done to get where she is. For example she spoke about sweeping floors and wiping down tables. Saying she has never had a problem with doing so, but, had a huge attitude when stopped to be asked if someone could wipe the booth off because it was still wet or the look she gave when we told her their was food on the floor which was being stepped in. She treated us as if we were just looking for a reason to complain. The reason I feel that way, another customer complained about food being on the floor under their seat as well and she handled it completely different. When confronted about her actions she addressed it with the most smug smirk on her face. We watched 3 other tables come in after us, order food and recieve their food before us when we had already ordered our food at least an 1/2 hr prior to the other tables coming in. When asked why we hadn't recieved our food she smirked an begin to make excuses as to why we hadn't. Such as "oh we only have 2 cooks and it just depends on who gets the order 1st, an 1 of the steaks wasn't all the way done so we had to put it back on." Well that would make sense especially if their was suppose to be 6 well done steaks and 1 medium well but I'm just curious to know why the other meals weren't brought out instead of just sitting there getting cold. Now I will say we were not charged for our meals but we did leave hungry and without the chance to celebrate our mom's birthday. Which is why we chose to go there to begin with. I understand that times are different and can be difficult due to the shortage of staff but their is no reason why we should've left there feeling like the manager on duty took pride in allowing us to leave dissatisfied or that she took pleasure in...
Read moreThis roadhouse is the closest one for us so we came back again(this is an updated review). Every time we revisit the service and food gets worse and worse. The previous time we were there the grilled chicken came out under cooked and pink in the center. Manager came to our table and blamed it on their food mircrowave(that's how the raw chicken is cooked is with a microwave?) That meal was not taken off the bill. A month goes by and we decide to try it again regrettably. December 29th at 315 pm we get seated and the dining lobby is not even half way filled. Our waitress Afuafu(she said Lala) took our order after 5 minutes of being seated. My side salad came out before our beverages and at this point we were seated for 20 minutes. After telling our waitress Lala that our onion cactus had not come out yet she laughed and said it will be out shortly. After witnessing the table a few over from us seeing their onion cactus come out and then literally followed behind them with our same server(Lala) carrying their entrees. Eventually we received our onion cactus and wouldn't you know it our main entrees are brought to us as well at the same time. We mentioned it to our waitress and she was not apologetic or did not care at all. The manager said she would take it off of our bill and never did.
This is not customer service at all. The management and training staff is horrible. Once the new steak house down the road opens their doors this establishment is in trouble.
We will definitely not be back again and will be sure to let any of our clients know not to visit this location. I am disgusted with the way this location treats their clients and how they blow mistakes off as if it happens all the time and customers should just accept it as a...
