Bay Hill Jewelers — Attraction in Dr. Phillips

Had a rough experience with engagement ring sizing over the past few months. When I originally brought in the ring, I was told that the accent stones on the side were too delicate to risk reshaping the ring and that white gold would be inserted and polished down instead. When the ring was brought in, I was told this was not actually the case, and they would be happy to resize it in the regular way.

They had taken my original deposit for the more expensive service and I was issued a credit for the remaining amount which qas great- however, months down the line an accent stone popped out. We brought the ring back in for repairs and were told that because of the reshaping of the ring, replacing the accents was a temporary measure and that it would not really be possible to reshape any of the other accent prongs.

I took my original ring (purchased elsewhere for reference), got it refunded, and brought in a new, identical ring to be resized properly, at which point Bay Hill Jewelers told me there was no way we could resize it... even though they had done exactly that and were happy to take money for it. Needless to say I am not happy, and have gotten my remaining credit back.

Inconsistent messaging, no sense of care or concern for a stressful situation, and just poor service overall. Why tell us it can't be done if you've already done it yourself? We are seeking alternative jewelers that we can at least expect...

Difficult story to share but short version as follows. Lost my very best friend during covid. One of the most important requests ever made was that I take care of his daughter. At the time she had been dating a very nice gentleman which Alan was blessed to have met and approved. Since his passing, his daughter is now getting married to the same great guy. I had a very unique request of Bay Hill Jewelers. In my possession was his wedding band. I wanted to surprise his daughter by having this melted down and to create both his and hers wedding rings so she could carry a little piece of her father forever.

I wouldn't have trusted this scope of custom metallurgic work to any other jewelry professional. Not only did they exceed my expectations, but went more than the extra mile to make this very emotional experience into an absolute blessing.

I would recommend Bay Hill Jewelers to anyone that expects 5 star service and merchandise. They will celebrate whatever reason brings you to their amazing shop with the amazing employees.

Bay Hill Jewelers helped my (now) fiancé turn a 100 year old heirloom diamond into a beautiful, modern engagement ring! He went in with an idea and they brought it to fruition. He has nothing but wonderful things to say about Stacey! We were out of the country when we got engaged, so he proposed with a decoy ring. We took the family to the Dr. Phillips location to pick it up when we got back. The employees offered us a glass of wine for an official “cheers” and seemed genuinely happy for us. The folks at Bay Hill Jewelers made this experience extremely memorable. Their attention to detail is impeccable. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for fine jewelry or ready to pop the question.

5 Year Update: if I could give 10 stars, I would! Unfortunately my wedding set was stolen. We worked with Stacey on our replacement through our insurance and this experience was just as excellent as the first! Working with Stacey and her team during a sad and stressful process what truly a light at the end of a dark tunnel. I will continue to recommend Bay Hill Jewelers to...
