Sixty Vines — Restaurant in Dr. Phillips

To have to write this review is very disappointing as my boyfriend and I came to this location for brunch and had an amazing time and suggested we go for dinner for our birthdays. To start off, our reservation was set for 8:00 and when we got there, we were told it’d be a few minutes to have us be seated. We did not get seated until 8:30. What is the point of having a reservation if we had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation time to be seated? Once seated, we waited about 10 minutes for our server. She wasn’t the most knowledgeable and not very helpful whenever we would ask questions about items on the menu. She said she’d find out about the questions we had but never came back with answers. At some point, it felt like she had an attitude but we paid it no mind. When we put in our orders, we gave her both our apps and entrees as we believed it would allow our food to come out at a decent time. We received our appetizers about 45 minutes into the dinner. The app I had was great but the rest of my table didn’t enjoy theirs. Our entrees did not come out to the table until 10:00pm. The restaurant closes at 10:00pm. At this point, my father needed to leave because we had plans after dinner which this ruined. He asked for his meal to be canceled and they brought it out anyway. A server that wasn’t ours told us that we could pack up the food and it’d be taken off the bill. Our original server came back and asked us who’s paying for the meal. I advised her of what the previous server told us. She ignored what I said and went to another couple in my party and asked again if they’d be paying for the meal and I advised again that we were told the meal was being taken off. The server then states that they can’t take it off the bill and that we either need to pay for it or give the food back. I gave her the food back and asked to speak with the manger Sophia. Sophia was nice and listened to our situation. She took my meal off from the party of 9 that was affected which I appreciated and advised that I’d be receiving an e-gift card for the inconvenience. The reservation was made under my brothers email and he’s stated that he has still not received the gift card so now I feel like we were given a false promise. This entire experience ruined my bf and I’s birthday celebration and it was such a disappointment as I really did love this place for brunch. At this point, I can’t say that...

A Memorable Dining Experience at 60 Vines – Perfect Send-Off Before Deployment

I had the pleasure of dining at 60 Vines to celebrate my birthday before my upcoming deployment to Poland this July, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

The decor is modern, clean, and inviting, with an open layout that includes a visible kitchen and a dedicated pizza station—such a refreshing touch that adds to the overall ambiance. We were fortunate to have Cici as our server, and she truly elevated our entire evening. Her attentiveness, deep knowledge of the menu, and warm hospitality made us feel completely at ease. She was especially accommodating with our son and in-laws, ensuring everyone felt welcome and well taken care of.

To start, I ordered the fried chicken and caviar—an unexpected yet brilliant combination. The chicken was light, crisp, salty, and had a subtle lemony finish that created a perfect balance of flavors. Paired with their Malbec Reserve, which was both delicious and affordably priced, it was a fantastic way to begin the meal.

For the main course, I chose the bavette wood-fired steak, served atop a bed of mushrooms and topped with a decadent foie gras demi-glace. The steak was incredibly tender—so much so that I joked I could have eaten it without teeth. The accompanying broccolini, tossed in a bacon Dijon vinaigrette, was one of the best renditions of the dish I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor.

The highlight of the evening came when Cici, having overheard it was my birthday, surprised our table with a Basque cheesecake and espressos. It was a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture that truly capped off a perfect evening.

While the food at 60 Vines is undoubtedly phenomenal, it was Cici’s exceptional service that made the night truly memorable. Her professionalism and care rival service I’ve received at Michelin-starred establishments.
