My boyfriend and I dined at Chima while on vacation, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed—complimentary valet parking set a welcoming tone, and the building itself was stunning, bathed in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows. We were warmly greeted at the door and promptly shown to our table. The staff was exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Upon being seated, a server explained how the dining experience at Chima works and took our drink and appetizer orders. Having visited several Brazilian steakhouses in the past, we found Chima to be distinct in many ways. Shortly after being seated, our waters were filled and we were served pão de queijo, which was absolutely divine. Throughout the meal, the manager and various staff members frequently checked in with us, offering tips and explaining certain items, which made the experience feel even more personalized and thoughtful. Several shared dishes were brought to the table, all of which were delicious. Just steps away, the neighboring room featured a beautiful, immaculately clean salad bar with an impressive variety of options: fresh fruits and vegetables, cold salads, rice, beans, cheeses, dried meats, and more. I highly recommend grabbing an extra plate to make room for the wide selection of meats served tableside. The servers circulated regularly, offering an array of perfectly cooked meats. One detail I appreciated was that they asked for your preferred meat temperature—a small but thoughtful touch. We sampled picanha, lamb chops, ribeye, sirloin, chicken drumsticks, filet mignon, filet wrapped in bacon, and salmon. Although we skipped the sausage, everything we did try was outstanding. Our favorite was the picanha with chimichurri—tender, flavorful, and unforgettable. In addition to the meats, they offered grilled cheese with honey and an irresistible cinnamon-dusted pineapple, which quickly became my personal favorite. For dessert, we shared an espresso martini and the strawberry cheesecake—both were excellent. I highly recommend saving room for dessert; it’s well worth it. We’re already planning to make the 800-mile drive back—it was that spectacular. Thank you, Chima, for an unforgettable dining experience.

This is review is our experience for the NYE 2024 service. We had a 9pm reservation and arrived around 830, we were seated within 15 min. so actually a little earlier than er expected. Unfortunately that will be the best part of this dining experience. Our experience mirrors Raul Rodriguez review from the same night, which prompted me to go ahead and post this review, I was going to let it go initially but since his review was exactly our experience too, here it is. We were a party of two and were seated right next to the rear waitress kiosk, just across from the salad/accompaniment bar. It was dark and lively and our server ( I do not recall her name) greeted us promptly and explained tonight service. $60 for a limited Rodizio or $85 for full Rodizio, soft drinks, and desert included. We opted for the $85 option as it included the ribeye, salmon and full fillet mignon. So our soft drinks and dining package ordered within the first 5 min. We were asked what meat temps we preferred, which is mid rare, keep that in mind, we were asked and they were told. We didn't see our drinks for 20 minutes about the time of the first meat offerings, just a little after 9, and it was the last slices of Piranha on the skewer. It felt like a dump off as it was a well done piece of meat. We did get some better Piranha 10 minutes later, and we got two nice mid rare slices, hindsight we should have loaded up then but we were pacing for all the other Rodizio offerings, but sadly most of them were never offered. Pineapple did show up, one of the only items to regularly come by, 6 times by my count, and it was good, but i did not need it 6 times. Beef rib showed up, I took a slice...it was over cooked and very chewy. It stayed on the plate. Another skewer dump came by and we were assured it was mid rare...it was not, congratulations...well done... and very chewy, unpalatable. We tried waiting on more circulation of meats, and some lamb chops did come by, but we had taken another couple pieces of Picanha and had managed to score some of the shrimp. After our cokes were delivered early on, our server did not check on us, despite the fact she had to use the kiosk several times during our visit, which the way we were seated I could touch the keypad, so a "hows everything" at least half of the time should have been easy...nope 99% of her 12-15 visits not a peep. We never saw or were offered 75% of what we paid for, and only one of the premium meat part of the service.

Here is a breakdown on all of the Rodizio

Top Sirloin (Picanha) yes-50-50 we got some good mid rare, we got some well done "leftovers" Top Sirloin with Garlic--nope Top Sirloin with Jalapeños & Chimichurri --yes, but did not try Flank Steak --yes, cooked mid rare but not too flavorful Filet Wrapped in Bacon -- nope Beef Ribs --yes--way overcooked, tasted like cafeteria pot-roast Leg of Lamb--nope Shrimp --yes, very good, but only seen once, we got 3 each Aji Chicken --nope Beer-Marinated Drumsticks --nope Sausage--nope Grilled Cheese--definitely NOPE Pineapple with Cinnamon Skewer--yes --over 6 times Veggie Skewer -- didn't realize it was an option until after, but never saw it Package 2 items: Lamb Chops yes Filet Mignon --nope Ribeye--must have been a ghost ribeye--nope Salmon--it must have been swimming upstream because it never made it to our table

We finally gave up, flagged down our server and placed a desert order, they came 15 minutes later and were at best meh...creme brulee should crack with the back of a spoon, not make a splash. Anyways, check 15 minutes later and we were done, about 10:30

Based on most reviews here and our experiences at other Brazilian Steakhouses, I am sure this place is good on avg. Unfortunately that was not our experience,

I am not from Orlando, but do travel here a couple times a year, and was in town this instance for a bowl game. Sadly when I do come back I will not...

There is only one word to describe our unforgettable experience at this beautiful venue, MAGNIFICENT! Our beautiful family reunion hosted its traditional family luncheon at this wonderful restaurant on July 16th, 2023, with approximately 283 guests. Because of the size of our reunion party, we required a total restaurant buyout to adequately accommodate our needs. We were so BLESSED to have Ms. Ashley Williams the absolute BEST sales manager organizing our luncheon, she worked with us for months to make sure everything went smooth. She is truly the most attentive, caring and warm spirited person you could ever work with and have to oversee your event. One thing I did not mention was Chima Orlando officially opened restaurant operations the day before our reunion luncheon took place. The day of our event everything was so well organized and planned you would not have known that was the second day of their wonderful staff interaction with restaurant guests. Everyone was AWESOME! Seriously, if you host an event at Chima's please ask for Ashley, she wholeheartedly works above and beyond to ensure you and your guests are well taken care. In all honesty, Chima's Restaurant has the most warm, professional and attentive staff that truly takes great care of their customers. They provided us with exemplary service throughout our entire event. Everything about this gorgeous venue was exceptional including the warm welcome we received upon arrival, interactions with their beautiful staff members throughout the event, abundance of delicious foods we wholeheartedly enjoyed, and the warm affectionate gratitude's and goodbye's we received as our event ended. If you are looking for a phenomenal venue with fantastic ambiance and exceptional food to host your next memorable family celebration or company party, you will absolutely love the wonderful venue of Chima Restaurant. Their magnificent sales manager Ashley Williams and her wonderful professional staff offer impeccable service that is absolutely refreshing and unforgettable. We are forever grateful for their sweet hospitality extended to our BIG loving family.

Thank you again Ashley and the entire wonderful Chima Family!

Warm Regards, Pamela Jackson/M.C.A.N. 2023...
