I come to Cool Stuff very regularly, when it comes to card and board games, it's the best place to go. The prices are lower than other places, booster packs are generally under $3 here, but when I go to GameStop and other stores that sell Pokemon and Magic, I'll be paying a little less than twice as much as I would at CoolStuff. The Staff are friendly and well educated about everything they sell. If someone can't answer your question about a particular game, they'll go and get someone who does know the answer. Be aware that when selling your cards, they will only buy cards that are basically brand new. This is because they sell them over their website. Even when you buy cards that are sold as "played", they're very good quality. You aren't going to get any cards that have scratches or scuffing along the edges, if I didn't know better, I'd say they're "near mint" too, just sold for less! If card games aren't your thing, they have board games too! You can test play them for free! The environment is great and kid friendly, it feels safe and there's a level of trust there. I've left my bag out on one of the tables while going to the bathroom or buying something at the counter and never felt the need to keep an eye on it. You also can go on your own to play. You can enter in tournaments, which they have a schedule of different tournaments you can look at, or just play casually. Even if you came alone, you can always ask around to see if people play Dragon Ball, or the Command version of Magic. People are always really friendly. There was one occasion where I had come in an hour or so before opening and I hadn't realized, I saw a bunch of people there and hadn't realized I was super early, so figured they were open. It turns out all those people were employees, they were having some meeting or something, but they explained very nicely that they'd be open at 11 so I just did some grocery shopping nearby and came back later. With low prices, good quality product, a friendly environment, there's no other place I'd go. There are also other Cool Stuff stores around Florida, so if Maitland isn't close to you, those will be great options since you'll get a very...

Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff were fantastic — very helpful and accommodating to everyone. Even while juggling multiple customers, they made sure to provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance and genuinely wanted to help each shopper find exactly what they were looking for. Their passion and expertise really shine through.
One of the great features of the store is how prices are clearly marked throughout, making it easy and stress-free to browse. For added convenience, there are computers available to quickly check prices on items, which is perfect for those who want to compare or verify costs without having to ask.

Read moreCool Stuff Games used to be my favorite store. It was the best place to get board games for the cheapest price. Now, it doesn't seem like they carry anything in store anymore. Not only do you have to buy everything online ahead of time to be able to even acquire it, but once you get there you have to look up all your info on the computer yourself. After waiting in line, they turn you away and make you go on the computer yourself and see if the board game is available or in the store instead of them looking it up for you themselves. It's basically a self-help operation at this point. The worst part is that when you try to call them to see if your order is there, THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE. The store is up and running, but they still have the 2020 Pandemic Voicemail saying they are working remotely. It's July 2022 but they haven't updated their phone line at all so it won't even connect you to the store. The phone doesn't even ring, it goes straight to voicemail and the hours on the voicemail are incorrect. It is literally impossible to contact them, you just have to order online and then just hope for the best with no way to actually...
