Winn-Dixie — Local services in Casselberry

I have always been a big fan of Winn-Dixie until my visit May 20, 2021. This visit was so horrible, I'm not sure when I will be returning. I went to purchase several items including the skinless chicken breast which were prominently advertised on their flyer. Since I went on a Thursday, all of the items should have been in stock since it was only the second day of the ad. They had lots and lots of other chicken breasts, but not the one that was advertised. If their policy is that the advertised meat items are available, but only if you request it from the butcher verbally, that policy needs to change. I also went over to get some Mrs Campbell's Chow Chow which their website showed was available. However, there was nothing on the shelf, not even an empty slot. The website does not match what items that the store carries. A third item I was hoping to get was corn on the cob. It was only going to go on sale on Friday, but that was okay, I did not mind to pay the price listed as their regular price on the ad. They had corn on the cob but it was even double their regular price listed on the ad. The polite worker in the produce department told me that the shipment had not come in yet. That was three strikes in a row, so I just left my cart and exited the store and it might be a long time before I go back. If Winn-Dixie hopes to regain my business, they will have to do much...

If this store had more self checkout lanes, i would give it 4 stars. They only have 4 self checkout lanes. They should have at least 10. They do have a very nice selection of food and other items, and prices are reasonable. But if you shop during the last couple hours at night, 8pm to 10pm be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes for a self checkout lane. Average wait time is 10 to 15 minutes at the end of the night, but sometimes the hoarders are shopping and they can only check out at self checkout after about 8pm. So they clog up the self checkout lanes at night because they sleep for most of the day anyway, and then they finally make it out at 9pm to fill up 3 shopping carts full of dog food, cat litter, puppy chow, pringles, chips, hot dogs and sausage jerky. And don't forget your ten 6 packs of coke, hey, you might run out of coke so get it all now little buddy. Overall, good store with bad checkout experience. This store needs at least 10 self checkout lanes, and they currenty...

The store manager Michael Tallman is so unprofessional, he is the worse manager ever! He allows his employees to speak to customers very rude and stand right there next to them with a smirk on his face. He never apologized for his employees screaming at me and speaking to me in a rude way in front of other customers. I guess if they all get a raise then maybe they may treat us as customers better. So when you interact with him and his employees, be prepared to get mistreated because he dont give a damn! Michael and his employees are clueless about how to treat customers. I have a better Idea, Michael Tallman need to learn how to be a professional manager Like Winn Dixie Store manager in Longwood, Eric Dichtas. I see why his staff is so unprofessional, he allows them to treat customers any kind of way forgetting that Winn Dixie is going out of business and he should think about trying to bring as much money...
