Being the circumstances Brittany the MGR really stepped up to the plate and has the ball rolling. Tonight 2.21.24 she was the only worker and with mobile orders over $100 back to back she made sure that we were all taken care of or at least told about what was going on. And i did have to wait until she was free with them but hot fresh food and service with a smile she really pulled the whole interaction around. And she needs a raise! Being the only MGR/ only associate in the building and working drive thru, filling orders, and keeping her customer service was awesome to see. All I know is that any manager I've ever known would've called the GM and told them they could close the restaurant, but she tackled it beautifully. I know at the end of the day when I drove away that I was pleased with my experience even though a little rough at first being a 45 minute wait. But she truly turned it around and made me happy to come back. If I could say anything it's that if Brittany can run a restaurant by herself then she has proven she could own one and do the easy lifting for once. I've come here before and had many interactions with her and I have never had anything bad to say about her service or anything at all. Tonight just really reestablished that! Brittany is the heart and sole of the checkers at fern park!!! Without her I doubt you'd have a checkers...

Food: I ordered a chicken wrap, and it had significant charred food debris from meals throughout the day on it. The item was covered in grease, and was not presentable. Upon asking for a replacement, the replaced wrap of perfect, and looked unrecognisable compared to the first wrap I revived. The taste of the second wrap was great.
4 stars for food due to the first order.
Service: When I asked for a redo on the awful wrap, the staff initially told me that the grill just does that to the food, and asked if I really wanted another wrap (of course, the reason is because they didn’t clean it). One of the staff overheard the conversation, and she told me she’d take care of the order and would redo it. In less than a minute, she had a perfect wrap prepared with no excess grease, or charred debris from previous meals.
Due to the neglect from the majority of the staff, and the excellent service from one of them, 3 stars for service.
I will not rate the atmosphere since I ordered my food to go.
Overall: Despite the initial terrible food quality and terrible service, the one staff member who made sure I received an adequate and presentable meal brought my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I advise this location to monitor their staff for neglect to avoid health...
Read moreI don't know who designed the drive-thru but it's horrible. I mean, it's really bad. It's super tight, it's too small and the actual design is highly flawed. Once the drive-thru is full, cars coming off 17-92 pull in and block the crosswalk, block the view of the car trying to leave and are in the road. If you go around the building to enter the queue, you're waiting at a stop sign next to the window for completed orders. Yeah, people don't stop at the sign, they pull up and block the exit completely so now the car that just got their food can't pull out. It's a complete cluster...you know what.
We've got stay at home orders right now and there aren't remotely as many people out and about as there usually are. I can't imagine what traffic congestion that place is going to cause once things actually go back to normal. I can't imagine it being successful the way it is.
