We are not from the neighborhood and saw the reviews and decided to check it out. It looked like a hole in the wall restaurant and by my experience, those are the best kind. I'll start with the Pros: It was clean and the environment was cozy and friendly. Waitress was friendly but a little dry on the personality side. We ordered the biggest cheese pizza they had along with chicken parmigans and garlic knots. The pizza crust and bottom side was nice and crisp. Thats it for the pros..We were a party of 5. Cons: The sauce on the pizza and on the chicken parmigan plate was passable but not tasteful at all! The same sauce was given to us for our garlic knots and it was just passable and very watered down. There version of garlic knots were buttered/herbed biscuits. Yes, not a typo, picture biscuit/slider buns and that was there version of garlic knots. Though they were editable it was way too thick of a biscuit and was disappointing they can't twist some dough to make knots... Overall, it was ok. The pricing is fair like others reviewed but in my opinion if your looking for a really tasteful pizza/Italian food, I would go elsewhere. If your looking for something quick and passable, this is your...
Read moreNever been here to eat and was very excited to finally get the chance. I normally work every night until 9pm and happened to get off early enough to pick up my family and go to dinner.
FIRST THING I SEE WHEN I OPEN THE DOOR IS A SIGN THAT SAYS THEY ARE CHARGING MORE MONEY FOR THIER FOOD AND SERVICE DUE TO THE ECONOMY….
Because I got there at 8:45pm I politely asked if they are still serving and was told yes. I walk up to place my order and get the impression my business was not wanted. The person at the counter asked me if I was dining in and then rolled their eyes at me when I said yes. I ask, “are you sure your still serving?” And didn’t even get an answer so I told them I would take my money somewhere else.
How do you justify announcing to everyone who walks into your business that you are charging more money for your food and service, and then treat new business like that? If you are so desperate that you have to raise your prices then you should probably extend your hours and have a welcome mat rolled out for any customers willing to spend their money on your failing...
Read moreIt is very hard to find a excellent New York style pizza in Winter Park. The only other place is boardwalk. Today my family tried NY pizza in Fern Park. We order the garlic rolls and a 18 inch pizza. The garlic rolls were excellent! We all were sitting and hoping the pizza will be good also. In simple words the pizza also was excellent. The crust was perfect and the toppings were very fresh. I talked to the server and I told they make there own cheese and sauce. We are looking to come back to try the veal parmigiana and lasagna and of course a will order a pizza again. If you looking for excellent pizza try NY pizza in Fern Park on 17-92 in the Win-Dixie shopping center. Nov 26, 2022 we came in again and tried the 18 inch Popeyes pizza, plainly the best white pizza I ever had ! Still looking to try the veal. One more thing, the owners put there heart into each pizza only the best...
