Alright, folks, let's talk about the Desert Hills Premium Outlets. Now, if you're looking for a shopping experience that's equal parts exhilarating and exhausting, this place is for you.
First off, the parking situation is an absolute nightmare. It's like a game of musical chairs with cars, except there are no winners. You'll spend more time circling the parking lot than actually shopping. Maybe they should hire some traffic controllers or a helicopter pilot to help navigate this retail war zone.
Now, let's dive into the stores themselves. They've got a ton of designer brands, and that's great if you're into spending your entire month's rent on a pair of socks. I mean, seriously, who needs a $500 sweater? Unless it's made of solid gold and comes with its own personal butler, count me out.
The layout of the outlets is like a labyrinth designed to confuse and disorient you. It's as if they want you to get lost in a sea of overpriced handbags and impulse buys. And let's not forget the crowds. It's like everyone in a 50-mile radius decided to converge on this shopping mecca at the same time. Good luck finding personal space or enjoying a peaceful browsing experience.
Now, the food options. They have some decent spots to grab a bite, but be prepared to pay a premium for a mediocre meal. You're better off sneaking in some granola bars and a flask of your favorite beverage to survive the shopping frenzy.
Lastly, let's talk about the prices. Look, I get it, it's a premium outlet, but some of these discounts are questionable at best. You'll find yourself pondering whether saving 10% off a $1,000 handbag is worth it. Spoiler alert: it's not.
In summary, Desert Hills Premium Outlets is a chaotic retail battlefield where parking is a game of luck, prices will make your eyes water, and the crowds will test your sanity. If you're a glutton for punishment and love paying top dollar for designer labels, then by all means, dive right in. But for the rest of us, there are better ways to spend our...
Read moreMy fiancé and I came to the Gucci store and as I was trying on some shoes she liked one of the purses so I told her if she liked it I would buy it for her. After we went to the front counter and paid for our merchandise we realized the purse did not come with a small black strap that the display copy had and asked for it. The store employees looked and unfortunately said they could not find one and called the manager who refused. We told the manager that we will just return the purse then and he LAUGHED AT HER FACE and told her no and that there are no refunds, all sales are final, and are exchange only.
Further, as my fiancé (who has an Asian accent) kept trying to talk, the manager kept interrupting her and would not let her finish her sentence. It was very clear he had disdain for Asian women. He told my fiancé that the only way she would get the small black strap was to buy, or exchange for, the display copy version (which was filthy) instead of the brand new one we just purchased. My fiancé showed him that the piece comes off and that we would take the piece happily but he refused. Then he just disappeared while she was talking and never came out again.
We were treated like the...
Read moreShopping paradise to those who love shopping in great deal. They’re so many high end stores including Gucci, Prada, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta etc. It’s around 90 miles or roughly 2 hour driving from Beverly Hills depending on the traffic. Best to come here before noon probably around 10am-11am due to the limited parking space. There’s a parking garage and outdoor so better to park in the garage under the shade cos it can be very hot during the day which makes inside your car hot and you don’t want that happen after shopping for hours and tired of walking. I’ve been here many times and honestly their items sometimes good sometimes not so good and usually they have good items after Summer over. Read the policy carefully before purchasing cos some items are not returnable/no refund. Check the actual store first before coming here since retail stores sometimes have great discount (Saks, NM & Barneys) and if you compare the price with outlet price they’re almost the same but retail stores have better items, newer model and style. By the way, you should check out other shopping place like Adidas etc on the other side of the outlet not far from parking garage....
