I donât usually leave negative reviews because I know the impact they can have, but after our experience I felt it was necessary. Maybe it was just an off night, but with the cost of dining out, we wonât be returning to give it another chance.
The first red flag was how empty the restaurant was on a Friday night. Based on the reviews and photos, we expected something much better. We sat outside on the patio since the weather was nice, but it quickly lost its charm. There was constant traffic from the casino-adjacent convenience store, teenagers riding e-bikes through the dining area, and even a cop car that showed up. On top of that, we saw a number of large rats running across the patio, picking up dropped food like dogs do at home.
All of that couldâve been overlooked if the food and service had made up for it, but unfortunately, they didnât. The service was poor, both in attitude and execution. Things took forever to come, and drink orders were forgot or (and like I said it wasn't very full). One person in our party didnât like the beer he ordered, he finished it without complaining to the staff because the ordering of it was on him, then to my surprise ordered another of the same, when I asked him if the beer won him over he said no, he did so to just to avoid further unnecessary interaction with our server.
The food was just as disappointing as the service. A âwell-doneâ burger came out rare, a medium-rare was tar tar (completely uncooked), and a medium was a hockey puck. The kidsâ mac and cheese was so dry it barely had any cheese at all, and the child took a bite and we couldn't blame her when she stopped eating it. The staff never asked how things were probably because they had a good idea.
Overall, the experience was bad enough that I felt compelled to write this review. Hopefully, if you decide to go you have a better experience than we did, because we left feeling like we would have eaten better at a fast-food restaurant, and we were really excited to try...

Read moreThe service was pretty good. I went right when they opened so I think the bartender was trying to get into the groove a bit (I work retail so I know itâs a bit hard to do so when youâre opening). Otherwise the service was really good. The food though was kind of bland. I got the loco moco, which is usually supposed to be very flavorful, but I kept having to add salt and pepper. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken wrap and it was just okay as it tasted more like a cayenne bomb than Buffalo. He liked the ketchup more than the wrap itself which is unusual since he doesnât like ketchup. The place is convenient though as itâs right across from my house and easy to get to. In the future Iâd rather spend the couple extra bucks to get an uber at my usual spot. I will say it was cheap, and again, convenient. And again the service from the bartender, Carrie...
