March 5fh dinner . I loved this restaurant went all the time but after last nights experience with a rude waitress makes me not want to go back last night around 6:00 we sat at a booth with two friends and a waitress with black hair and I believe blue eyes was very rude to me only when I ordered my burrito that I love I asked for sour cream on the side she said oh you're the one that always gets the sour cream I said no this is my first time she said oh because nobody ever gets it like that ??? Why even say that ? I don't care what other people get she never asked if she could refill my soda but made sure she asked my friends who were drinking liquor I don't know if she was mad I didn't order liquor but I was the designated driver . Are food came and my burrito was cold and she forgot the tortillas that came with my friend's meal she never stopped by to see if we needed anything or if the food was good so after 15 minutes I practically went inside the kitchen and ask a different waitress can we please have the rest of my friends meal and she was very nice and helped me then I had to walk to the bar to get my refill. Our waitress was more concerned with her tribal table than ours. She never apologized she just said oh they forgot it. I don't know who they is? Then I asked my brother what he thought of the sour cream cuz it didn't taste like anything he said yeah it's tasteless maybe it's Mexican sour cream so I asked the waitress when she served my brother and his friend their beer and she said no it's not but maybe you need to take a covid test sounds like you have covid?? ???? She said that because when we had chips and salsa I said the salsa taste different this time did you guys change the recipe it tastes more like tomato sauce than salsa she said somebody else complained about the spiciness but I was just complaining of the flavor. So she thought it was funny to accuse me of having covid and telling me I needed to get a test am I at pechanga I felt like at sizzlers . We almost always sit at the bar and get impeccable service by a man with a beard he is excellent last night's experience was awful I had to take my burrito home just so I can eat it warm and not cold. Thank you for the horrible service she definitely cares more about her tips then...

Pomegranate Mule made with Tito’s Vodka, pomegranate, and ginger beer. I am becoming a mule lover so when I saw that this had pomegranates in it, I simply had to order it. The mule was smooth with the tangy, sweet flavor of pomegranates. Rating: 5/5

Stuffed Bone Marrow Toast served with braised oxtail & mushroom ragu and crispy brussels sprouts. The presentation reminded me of Twinkies. The toasts were cut into rectangular blocks and the bone marrow “crème” was piped into the toast just like the popular snack cake. I loved the bone marrow crème and could eat that for days. The toasts were crispy on the outside, yet spongy on the inside; well-suited to sop up the oxtail and mushroom ragu. The brussels sprouts added a bittersweet flavor to the mix. Rating: 5/5

Steak & Frites is a prime grilled steak (choice of filet mignon or hangar steak) topped with your choice of bleu cheese butter, peppercorn crust, bordelaise sauce, or garlic herb butter served with hand-cut pommes frites and arugula salad. I love the combination of filet mignon and bleu cheese. The bleu cheese butter added a fatty, pungent creaminess to the lean filet. The filet itself was perfectly grilled rare and so tender it could be sliced with a butter knife. The pommes frites were expertly fried with crispy exteriors and tender potato inside. Rating: 5/5

Braised Short Ribs are served with potato rosti, red cabbage mostarda, baby carrots, and horseradish gremolata. This portion of braised short rib was HUGE! This would be great for my hubby - the hungry man portion! The short rib was so tender, and the aroma of red wine permeated the senses. The potato rosti had a nice crispy exterior and creamy interior. The red cabbage mostarda added an acidic sweetness to the dish as the horseradish gremolata spiced up the taste buds. My mom said that this was the best short rib she has ever had! Rating: 5/5

Giant Raspberry Macaron made with soft almond cake topped with Bavarian cream, fresh raspberries, a crunchy macaron shell, and decorated with raspberry gelée and gold leaf. It was the perfect ending to a fabulous meal. It was decadent, creamy, tangy, and...

Sometimes I like to wait a few weeks when a place first opens up so that they can work out the kinks and be smoothly operated....

They still aren't there yet after a month. (Food Review at the bottom)

The guy sitting at the bar next to me was just about done with his meal and I guess he ordered an extra ceviche. I also ordered ceviche as an appetizer but my main entree was the chicken mole enchiladas. The bus boy brought all of our items together and gave me one ceviche and both of the other two items to the guy that just finished his other meal?? Like common sense would tell you he already finished his meal. The entre was going to me??

The guy looked at it and pushed it away and said it wasn't his. Maybe I'm a finicky eater but just the thought of someone breathing on my food like that makes me cringe. I let it go though and just ate. Apparently the bartender was to blame. She told the bus boy. I don't know why I gave her a dollar after this. She didn't even take my order. The host did because she was taking way too long to make simple drinks. But I still tipped 20%. Geesh. I really need to stop tipping incompetent workers because then they think it's not a big deal.

**I would say the chips and salsa was the best item. It's a nice homemade corn tortilla chip so it's super crunchy. The salsa was tasty. But they come with the meal...

*The ceviche had no seasoning or lime juice. It barely had any ingredients other than the seafood. If you've ever eaten plain lobster meat, it's OK but without the butter or some kind of sauce, it's honestly pretty bland.

**The mole enchiladas were just so so. I really didn't get that rich mole flavor I love to taste. It's almost like the mole came out of a can. But it was ok. I mean, it didn't have any problem, but just not the wow I was hoping for.

I don't think I would return. Maybe for a beer? Then again, the bartender was pretty slow and seemed unsure of herself. For 35 bucks, I'll just go to a...

You guys… Pechanga Casino might just be SoCal’s best kept secret for families 😄💦 We’ve been doing little staycations here over the past few years and LOVE it. It’s super family-friendly. The pool is amazing and the kids could stay there all day. They hand out free popsicles and offer poolside service, which is such a treat. You get complimentary water during your stay, and the food is actually good. Best part? The entire resort is nonsmoking! There are restaurants and a little food court inside, and Phil’s BBQ is only 15 minutes away 🔥👏 Highly recommend for a chill, easy family getaway! #s#socalstaycationf#familytravelk#kidfriendlyresortp#pechangacasinos#socalwithkidss#staycationvibesf#familygetaway #travelwithkids
