Budgetel Inn and Suites Glenwood — Attraction in Belvedere Park

I would give 5 stars. But let me tell you a few things. I got a great deal for a week here pretty kool. The room was so huge it could have two beds and I was in a king .. omg. Separate vanity from the toilet and shower. The tub seemed to be remodeled. I mean you could soak in it for days. And not move. Well not literally. But it was definitely clean or brand new or something. Overall comfy. The neighbors were very nice everyone seem to know each other and get along. I felt welcomed. Thanks. There is security. Now. My problem with them is that they make you park a certain way. I don't know why but they do. If you don't they either fine you tow the car. I wasn't trying to find out. Bc these man made rules and laws are outrageous. 2nd they don't have wifi. You have to pay $5 a day or $10 for a week. I know right. However, their wifi didn't work and they don't do refunds. So come with good phone service or hotspot device. Bc my service or hotspot didn't work at the time. But overall you get a good deal on the room very much worth it. I'll go again I don't think I seen many bugs.but I did capture one . they should update their tvs.. and paint in the room it'll stand out more. They do have pest control. Due to security issues I only stayed 1 hour in this so-called hotel. After checking into room (214) I sat on the bed while my wife took a shower. 30 minutes later a man entered my room, he had in his hands a key to my room and I was shocked, I asked the man how he had access and the man told me that that was the room they gave him at the reception, but he ran down the stairs and he didn't even have a suitcase to prove it was true. Automatically I went down to the receptionist and asked what had happened, how had this happened and the receptionist's response was very simple, according to her it was a minor error and she also said that it would not happen again. I told her that for security reasons I would check out because I was not willing to sleep in a hotel where anyone could enter my room. I requested a refund and it was denied. This hotel kept all my money($188.00) I booked three nights, from April 16th to 19th, and even though they were guilty of allowing a stranger into my room, even though they knew I hadn't even been in the hotel for an hour, they wouldn't refund my money. Some people are hard to please because theyve been sold a false sense of entitlement, so when it comes to places like this hotel, they look for things to complain about. Its not the greatest hotel Ive ever experienced judging by accomodations and amenities but I can personally vouch for each and every staff member on deck! The people that work behind the front desk are what make this place 5 Star! They have a 5 Star staff that goes above and beyond to do the very best they can with what they got, and to me that says a lot of merit, ethic, and integrity which are qualities in a Staff that money cant buy! Its been tough on this country since the start of the Pandemic, and through these hard times I can say that every day I go to the front desk, somebody is there to greet me with a smile! And sometimes thats just the right thing to turn a bad experience around, on face value!
