We were very nervous about the parking situation at Florida Island Tours, so we decided to Uber from Marco Island. It was a nice easy trip to the location. The owner asked us if we found parking okay and we let him know that we decided to Uber and he immediately offered to drive us to a local bar (Stan’s Idle Hour) after our trip so we could have lunch and a drink and call an Uber from there to head back to our condo. We took him up on his generous offer and had a fantastic time at Stan’s! As for the boat trip, we had Capt. Rick Egerton. Captain Rick was so knowledgeable about the area surrounding Goodland and Marco island. He told great stories of the origin or Marco island and much more. Seriously a great person and a trustworthy captain. He was able to manipulate a group of dolphins to follow our wake for a portion of the tour and it was AMAZING. I would do this again 100%. Great place. Great people. Book it today, you will not regret it. We learned so much and smiled...

We booked a private tour with Florida Island Tours for our party of six. The online booking was very easy, and a confirmation came by email right away with good instructions on how to get there and what to bring. The boat had plenty of room for us to move around and Captain Dale was very passionate knowledgeable about the wildlife and the environment. We travelled through the mangroves and saw all types of birds from ospreys to rare spoonbills. We were hoping to see lots of dolphins and, wow, we were not disappointed! Not only did Captain Dale know here to go to find the dolphins, but he knew how to get them to play with us as they surfed and jumped in the boat’s wake. It was awesome! We stopped on a shell island in the bay, near where the Dome House used to be, and we couldn’t believe how many different types of shells were there. Captain Dale collected a large assortment and described them to us in detail. The whole experience was great and we will...

We had the absolute BEST experience on our Marco Island boat tour today! Captain Rick was our guide, and he was very knowledgeable, so friendly, and professional. He took us to a small island to search for shells, and showed us examples of what we might find, and holy moly! I’ve never seen so many huge and unique shells in one area! It was so neat, and my daughter was thrilled to collect a bunch. He even provided us with shell hunting bags that we got to keep, which I thought was a very nice touch. But the best part was the dolphins! He took us to a spot where we saw a family of dolphins, and he drove in little circles around them and told us if they were feeling playful, they might follow our boat and “surf” on our wake when we started going straight…..and he was right! They followed our boat and were jumping out of the water like they were showing off for us. It was SO amazing! I highly recommend Florida Island Tours. Definitely ask for Captain...

In April 2022 our family booked an early morning shelling tour with Captain Nate. He was great, took time to provide a history of the islands and was very knowledgeable about everything. We had a 7:30am early morning private shelling tour. We were the only people on the island and were able to collect more shells than we ever imagined. We even were lucky enough to find the Junonia shell!!! A terrific experience which included a family of dolphins trailing the boat and having fun riding the waves behind us. Would highly recommend. I though the price was high upon booking, but after the experience I would state that it was worth every penny as an investment to create a great family memory. Highly recommend Florida Island Tours! We got a wonderful tour by Capt. Nate and Capt. Jules. The pickup at the Hotel was flawless and Capt. Jules gave us already a lot of information on the way to the boat in Goodland. The boat tour itself was perfect, watching birds, engaging various pods of dolphins (they love to play in the waves of the wake). Belly splashing Manta Rays and 2 Manatee were also part of the experience. Picking up shells was not of our interest so Capt. Nate cut short the visit on the "shell-island" and continued to explore other birds and wildlife. He introduced us then to "Knuckles" at 50+ years old dolphin grandma. It was a perfect day! The price seems steep, but really, it is not at all for what the day offered.

My wife and I took the Island Paradise trip . Captain Nate met us by the parking lot and was extremely kind. The entire trip was based in the Eco system of Ten thousand Island. Captain Nate was very knowledgeable and took us to a special island to go shelling. We learned all about Mangrove trees and we saw Manatees, Oysters reefs, different species of Birds and the best part of the trip was when we found dolphins . We were so lucky to find a friendly playful pod that followed with us . Captain Nate also gave us all the information about what the best places to eat in Marco Island . Thank You again captain Nate for an awesome day!!!! We will definitely come back again Paul an Marcia. 🌞🇺🇸
