One of my favorite places to fish is this jetty. I prefer the south side, rather than the inlet itself. Be sure to bring a chair if you are going to be a while.
I do see FWC out doing spot checks on coolers and licenses. Make sure you are good on that. It's super fun to watch the pelicans divebomb the bait balls, chilling to see the manatees snorting at the water surface, often see sharks or tarpon jumping out of the water.
Walk out the inlet up to the gate is smooth and wheelchair friendly. Beyond the little gate, no fishing carts as the terrain goes to highly uneven.
