Fort Pierce Jetty — Attraction in Fort Pierce

One of my favorite places to fish is this jetty. I prefer the south side, rather than the inlet itself. Be sure to bring a chair if you are going to be a while.

I do see FWC out doing spot checks on coolers and licenses. Make sure you are good on that. It's super fun to watch the pelicans divebomb the bait balls, chilling to see the manatees snorting at the water surface, often see sharks or tarpon jumping out of the water.

Walk out the inlet up to the gate is smooth and wheelchair friendly. Beyond the little gate, no fishing carts as the terrain goes to highly uneven.

Great little park on the fort pierce inlet. A great spot for a relaxing walk with views to die for. Often an awesome singer named Gary Lenard Moore plays there. His Motown renditions are sonething that will have you smiling and singing along. New to fishing? The crowd there is eager to help and cheer you on if you catch a big one. Very diverse crowd.
