Fresco has many great attributes and offers great groceries at good prices (which is why they're getting 3 stars instead of 2). Unfortunately if my decision of coming back to this Fresco was based on their employees, I would never set foot in it ever again. I've been coming to this Fresco since I moved to the area 6 months ago in October 2018. Whenever I've had a question, any question, the most common response I get is "I don't work in this/that department", followed by continuing doing whatever they were doing before I interrupted them with my question and without even considering finding someone who could help me. The bad service and lack of knowledge is met with rudeness and inefficiency at the deli, where the one lady making sandwiches has to wait until each sandwich is done before taking the next customer (even if the next customer only wants a croqueta which only requires the lady to grab it from the plate, put it in a brown bag and sell it, which takes considerably less time than heating a sandwich). Instead the lady stands in front of the heating sandwich while carrying a personal conversation with her co-worker who seems to have been cleaning the machines all the time behind her. The man at the costumer service was asisting 2 people with western union and he had zero back up. I almost felt bad for him. The lines were long in the entired store and the wait was unacceptable. I asked him if he could call someone or a manager to back him up as the lines were long and he said no. I called the store to speak with the manager and this lady was just soooooo unprofessional. Cynthia the manager of this store needs to take some serious 101 classes on how to speak with the people! Educate yourself lady!!! Read moreI am not going to lie. I was a little weary about coming here because of the previous review. However, what I was coming for I felt that I would be ok.
Upon walking in the store appeared to be clean. The layout is a little different than some stores that I frequent. So it took me a moment to orient myself and find what I was looking for.
While I was there vendors were there restocking the shelves. There were ample people in the checkout line which was much appreciated. I hate when I go into the store for one thing and there is only 1-2 lines open and super long. Luckily there were about 5 lanes open. Talk about a win!
The cashier who assisted me was nice and assisted me as best she could. I could tell that she was not a fluent English speaker so I kept my usual cashier banter to myself.
