Great Clips — Attraction in Duluth

I just moved to the area and this was my first time at this particular location. I brought two children with me age 4 and 5 to get their hair trimmed. Upon arrival, we were “greeted” by a woman who was sitting in her chair with her back facing us, she begrudgingly got up and approached us and didn’t even say hello and seemed very unmotivated to be there. She moved very slowly, and barely spoke a word to anyone. I asked her to trim my child’s bangs and take a few inches off the back. She cut her hair very carelessly and immediately sliced into the bangs and left a jagged triangle shape in them. I asked her to even them out. She kept making them shorter and shorter, yet still uneven. She claimed the child was moving around too much. She was not. She finally asked the other stylist (who was cutting my other child’s hair) to help her. Reyna, the other stylist had me come to her station, was very sweet and friendly and fixed my child’s bangs as much as she could within one minute. I paid $40 and left. Reyna was great, but the other stylist (who never introduced herself) was absolutely terrible. I’m disgusted with her service, and am fuming at the butchery of my kids hair. I took my son here for a haircut, and unfortunately, it was an unpleasant experience from start to finish. The hairdresser was rude and had a very nasty attitude. She was particularly harsh with my son, who is just 10 yrs old ,telling him not to move in a way that was intimidating and made him scared. Instead of being patient or understanding with a child, she seemed annoyed from the start.

Her attitude was also directed at me, constantly telling me that I was wrong when I tried to calmly explain how I want his hair to be cut. Instead of working with me, she was argumentative and dismissive. It was clear she had no interest in making the experience better for either of us,it’s like she doesn’t even want customers .At one point she asked the other Asian hairdresser to agree with her just to prove me wrong,I wasn’t in the mode of arguments as I could tell my son was on the verge of crying,and he did cry as soon as we we left that place .

I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you’re taking young children for a haircut. A little kindness and patience go a long way, and unfortunately, this was lacking in every way. Save your self and check the reviews before you go to this...

Worst haircut I've ever gotten. Lady who cut it i think her name was Auna or Aruna, older woman, completely butchered my hair. Didn't listen to what I requested, I asked for corrections in the seat and she just didn't do them. Rude also, I have a scalp condition that I am pretty embarrassed about and she nonstop commented on it and even said I need to go to a dermatologist immediately. Not sure if she's new to haircutting but that's just common sense it's rude. Haircut came out terrible also, went home and buzzed my hair right away, she couldnt even tell which direction my hair goes. If you do go to this location I would avoid that lady ask for anyone else.

Also the manager just isn't there Monday Tues wed for some reason so couldn't even call to complain and get resolution,...
