I just left this smoothie king and I am actually really irritated. My parents (who I will not disclose) know the owner who I have actually never met and today I came in and the service was bad. Joy was kind of snappy with us while we ordered and she was the only one behind the counter so I brushed it off. Then a man ordered after us and she was also snappy and rude with him I told my boyfriend that something was off in this location (I was previously a manager at sk for about 5 years) then our drinks were ready and mine was not full I just said I would show the owner (obviously via my parents). we got to the car and tasted them and they tasted like chemicals so I came in to get something else and they were out of sugar free strawberries so I just asked for a refund. At this point now I have an attitude and the owner says hi I’m the owner MJ as if she’s trying to be funny because Joy went to the back to talk crap about me when we left and told her I said I knew the owner. She the owner had an attitude thinking she’s cute or whatever. I’m obviously going to let my folks know and never come back. As well as share my story on my platform. I’ve submitted a request for her business to be added to the BBB because it’s not there for me to file my complaint. She tried to recover and act nice towards the end but at that point it was too late. I was going to be petty and tell her who my mama was but I decided to just bite my tongue and send my mama the videos. Good luck. As a former loyal customer i have experienced the upmost disrespectful tones body language eye rolls and the list goes on. This past summer i dealt with a young lady of asian decent whom was very very rude to me. i spoke to the owner she convinced me this is not how she does business. she gave a full refund and few welcome back coupon. I begin to go back to my pleasant hill location ( mind you out the way driving wise) then one day I said okay I have to go to Kroger's let give this location another shot. My orders include double protein shots extra blue berries multivitamin as a double and then immunity as a double and lets not forget I always add frozen yogurt. Majority of the time I get the yogurt almond nuts bag when I see it on the shelf as well. Sometime I even tip and tip well. If you shop here you know to add all I do to a Caribbean way in a size of 32 ounce and then get two of them you pushing 40 bucks plus always each visit. Today I called four times no pick up. i went on the website and ordered. My kiddo went and realized from the owner herself it wasn't crossed over to them. The way the owner handled the entire matter lets me know why her staff is so rude and disrespectful on several occasions. This place should be banded and a new owner and staff is needed. I'm over it. Read moreWow horrible experience just left there. They had a promotion for BOGO smoothie and the lady told me I had to order 3 in order to use it because I already ordered a pick up order. She called the “manager” And was on the phone for 10 minutes and still never came from the back. So I ordered another smoothie and it was horrible horrible. I called to let them know and the guy was very rude and disrespectful. I asked for the manager and he gave me a fake number and admitted it. So shocked that this is happening. So sad as well because I liked smoothie king. Bad customer service, bad business practices, bad people. Place needs to be shut down.
UPDATE: I went back to the store to see about my refund/new smoothie and nothing got resolved, I had to beg the associate if I could talk to the manager, associate put me on speaker to speak to the manager and on the other line only to hear the manager screaming at me. This is bait and switch a fraudulent business practice. I cannot emphasize enough of how unprofessional and combative she was. Reporting them toBBB.
