My nephew bought a battery from them for me. It was the incorrect battery, so I went to the store asking to exchange it for the correct battery. I was told that the store had a no return policy. I either wanted to exchange it for the correct battery or have my purchase refunded; seems like a reasonable request. I thought that the employee might not have understood the return policy, because it seemed so absurd. I asked to speak to a manager. A person who introduced herself as the owner confirmed that the store has a strict no return policy, not for exchange nor refund regardless that they sold my nephew the incorrect item (he even showed them a picture and model number for the battery I wanted) and that it was brand new in the box still. She took the battery out of my hand to examine it but still insisted that she couldn't help me. By this time I was running late to pick up my kid from school (a five minute errand going on fifteen) so I asked for the battery back that I now own. She jerked it away from me and said "hold on" and continued looking at the battery contemplatively. I told her I was now late to pick up my kid and that I had to go and that I would chalk this up to a $30 learning lesson. She asked lesson for what? I said a lesson that I won't ever come back because this is the third time the store burned me. She still refused to give my battery back holding it against her chest. I became emphatic that I was late and didn't have time to argue and that I wanted MY battery back. She handed it back to me and i started to leave the store when she shouted down the isle, "I said I WAS going to give you a refund!" And I shouted back, "I'll never be coming back here again, and the internet is less expensive anyway!" PS. I also bought a $40 from them. The wing was slightly broken right out of the box. I called about 30 mins after I bought it to ask if they would exchange it. They kid on the phone was talking to other customers in the store while he was on the phone with me, even talking over me to answer their questions k not really a good occasion for multitasking) and sounded annoyed at my question. They told me they would sell me some glue to fix it....

Read moreI had a terrible experience at your store with one of your workers he was very hesitant in helping me and I kept asking him to see some of your merchandise, instead of him being willing to show me. This was about RC cars. At first I had asked him about brushless motors and 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive RCs and how he only had the two wheel drive RC car with a brushless motor, he had just mentioned about them to me. Usually when you are being told about products you are shown where you have them to see them, I'm not going to blind buy something I don't know what it looks like. I had to wait for him to show me but he just stood there so I had to ask "can I see them" and that's because we were standing in that aisle where all the RC cars were. Then I had asked him what his cheapest servos were, then he went on talking as if I didn't know what a servo was and when he educated me on what a servo was I said "yes that's what I'm looking for" him and his other blond long haired coworker just stood there and I had to say "can I see them" again. I had asked him about batteries as well and he didn't even want to show me because I didn't have an RC car picked out. I had mentioned to him about one online that I was looking into and he mentioned how you don't have parts for aftermarket RC cars or know if the batteries will even fit, but all I was looking for was pricing and comparison since I'm new to the RC scene and needed 2 RC cars. I had mentioned I'm not an expert with RC cars and had more questions but felt like I just wasn't wanted there, as if I had to dig around with all these questions just to get all the answers that I needed. I was hoping to go home with a couple of RC cars for the kids but your store didn't slow down at all in leaving bad taste in my mouth. I don't think it's a misunderstanding since three out of the three items I wished to see, I had to ask "can I see them". I didn't even bother asking for the prices of the batteries because at that point I think the attitude was evident so I just booked it. Waste of time...
Read moreI was there with my son and was just put off by the way we were treated as customers.
The staff is not what so ever educated about their own RC parts. Two middle aged men had no idea what I was talking about in terminology, or anything knowledgeable about their own parts stock. They told me receiver antennas were not even replaceable if I chopped one off, News flash: you don't need to replace a whole receiver just because you break an antenna, learn your own hobby and stop ripping off your customers. I can buy a bundle of 20 antennas online for $3, I would have payed more for them at this store if they werent a bunch of jerkoffs in the way they treated me. Markup at this store is quite high it seems or they need a new distributor. Also getting with the times within the RC hobby and stocked more parts like clearly more than one customer has asked for or go out of business for crappy all around customer service and communication with their customer base. This place is behind on the times and its staff is not knowledgeable when it comes to modern hobbies. They will either need to get with the times or their jobs will go away because I can get all this stuff online for 3-4x cheaper all day, delivered free to my door in 2 days while im pooping at work. So that leaves this place for needing something instantly and sadly they just done stock anything for quad-copters and clearly have no knowledge in the matter. Ill pass next time and just stock up on parts from online stores with the money I save by not being charged outrageous markup on the...
