The experience working with International Business Exchange to sale our software /MSP /MSSP business far exceeded anything I expected or realized I would need. Even though I have run a business since 1994 I had no idea what was ahead of me. The company that purchased later mentioned to me how impressed they were with Mr. Harvey and they do acquisitions all the time. To start with IBE took the time to understand my business, my desires, and who I believed are ideal partners. They walked me through putting together a professional video describing my company and desires. They brought a large list of potential buyers to the table but instead of spending my time with each of them they were able to meet with them and slim the candidates down to the ones that aligned with my objective. This alone saved me tremendous amount of time. I cannot over emphasize the value of the experience IBEX brought to the table. I had top attorneys and accountants working with me throughout the process, but no one provided the constant mentoring, negotiating on my behalf, and helped me understand both the process and what I should expect like IBEX did. They do not replace attorneys and accountants but their knowledge and experience of financials and business acquisition is what provided the biggest assistance maneuvering through this process. As a result it minimized the time I needed from these expensive resource. Bottom line is I had never been through this process before and had no idea what I was instore for. Not only did they bring the right partners to the table they guided me through the entire process. I do not think I could have been successful without their epertice. I have been purchased and part of an organization that aligns with my objectives thanks to Mr. Harvey and his organization. If you are fortunate enough to be able to work with this organization I can assure you that you are in...

Never saw video. Never saw one ad. Never had one call or prospect.....until 2 weeks before listing was set to expire. Just as I suspected would happen. Also was told all my documentation was incomplete and supplemental documentation was needed urgently. I let the listing expire and thanked Russ for doing nothing and I hope he enjoyed the $15k. I had to call back and ask them to remove my listing from their website 2 months later.
When the listing agent shows up, he has a binder of business they have sold that looks like my sons 4th grade school folder. I recognized one of the business that sold and asked him about it, but it was avoided. I recognized the business because my friend purchased it after it sat on the market for 2 plus years and he practically picked it up for inventory cost. I feel bad for the seller, because I know what was paid.
In closing, I was and am still very unimpressed. I looked up better business bureau claims against they after we parted ways and read several story's similar to mine. Lots of upfront $$$ with zero results. I'm sure these gentlemen have sold business, but not as many and not for as much as they say. All sales information is confidential, imagine that. I would not list with them, sell with them, nor but from them. The only reason they received one star is google requires it to write a review. Stay away and I hope this review saves someone else thinking about...
Read moreWorst investment I’ve made. Don’t get me wrong, Frank was a great salesman. Said all the right things. “We hand pick the companies we want to sell”, “everyone is looking for a small town business right now”, “it’s the right time to sell a business”, “your business is worth more than you think”. Even had a nice thick notebook of all of the “checks they have received from businesses they sold”. It was very convincing. In order to get started we just had to pay a rate of $15k. We understand that in order to list a business, there is going to be a cost involved. We couldn’t part with that much so he settled for $10k to get the listing going. This is what we received for $10k. A decently shot video describing us and the sale. Then it was 3 emails of “potential buyers” that never followed up. One of which conveniently had “interest” 2 weeks before IBEX wanted us to extend our contract. Our “broker”, David, reached out to us maybe a handful of times to get up to date documents the entire year. It was a huge waste of an investment that probably cost them $2k at most. It really feels that they actually make their money selling the “idea” of selling a business more than actually selling said business. I hope this review helps any other small businesses save the money that they work...
