I usually donât write reviews, but this place is truly worth it. Austinites need to know about this newly opened hidden treasure. Most restaurants canât deliver Andhra food this amazing, let alone in the US. This is no exaggeration; the food is simply exceptional. âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸
â¤ď¸I visited this Restaurant in Austin, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. The non-vegetarian thaliđ I ordered was a perfect blend of homely flavors and authentic South Indian cuisine. The thali included a variety of dishes like chicken curry, mutton curry, prawns, fish appetizer, sweet pongal, sambar, rasam, dal, tindoora fry, chapathi, curd rice, pickle, white rice, fryums, and a vada. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with just the right balance of spices and a taste that transported me straight to my rootsâ¤ď¸.
The chicken curry and mutton curry were rich and flavorful, while the prawn preparation had the perfect touch of coastal spices. The sweet pongal was a delightful end to the meal with its authentic, homely tasteđ â¤ď¸.
Apart from the thali, I also tried their Irani Chaiđ , which was an absolute treat. The chai was aromatic, creamy, and had just the right sweetness, making it the perfect accompaniment to the meal. It brought back memories of traditional Irani cafes with its rich and authentic flavor. To top it off, I also ordered their Chikoo Shake made with dates, and it was heavenly. The shake was thick, refreshing, and naturally sweetened with dates, highlighting the true essence of chikoo . Itâs a unique drink that stands out and is highly recommended for anyone looking to try something new and healthyâ¤ď¸.
The serviceđ was impeccable, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and quick to cater to our requests. They ensured that everything was served promptly and took the time to check if we needed anything else, adding to the overall pleasant dining experienceâ¤ď¸.
Apart from the amazing food and beverages, the ambience of the restaurant deserves a special mention. The interior đ is thoughtfully decorated with vibrant wall paintings that reflect Indian culture and tradition. The color themes are warm and inviting, creating a cozy and relaxed dining experience. Itâs evident that a lot of attention has been paid to details, making it a great spot not just for food but also for soaking in a homely and cultural vibeâ¤ď¸.
I highly recommend â¤ď¸Sanjeevani restaurantâ¤ď¸to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful South Indian food in Austin. Whether youâre craving a comforting meal, a refreshing beverage, or simply a place that feels like home, this restaurant delivers on every front. I will definitely be visiting again whenever I crave a slice of home!

Read moreI visited Sanjeevani for lunch over weekend and it was an unforgettable experience with the warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment we entered inside.
The service was impeccable. The taste of the food is star of the show. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, showcasing the rich and diverse spices of India.
We started with few appetizers in veg and non-veg..... Fish Pakora, Chicken 65, Chicken Majestick, Pitapuram Prawns and Bhimavaram Kodi Vepudu⌠must-try â flaky, tender, perfectly seasoned and incredibly satisfying. Vegetarian diners will appreciate the selection as well, with dishes like Chilly Mushroom (a must try) crispy on the outside and packed with a flavorful, perfectly seasoned filling. Parata with Paya curry is one of the best in Special itemsâŚit is really heaven for Nonveg lovers.
For the main course, we opted Malai Kofta, Kadai Paneer (veg), which was creamy, rich, and comforting, the Garlic Naan was the perfect accompanimentâsoft, fluffy, and subtly charred. Also tried few non-veg options Chicken Tikka Masala and Mughlai Chicken making it the perfect accompaniment to the soft, warm butter naan and basmati rice. Finally end up with Thalapakattu Mutton Biryani (The mutton, slow-cooked to perfection, is incredibly tender and infused with the rich spices of the biryani, while still maintaining a melt-in-your-mouth texture) and Vijayawada Boneless Chicken Biryani.
The dessert, Double Ka Meetha and Gulabjamun , was the perfect end to the mealâsweet and indulgent, melting in your mouth.
If you're craving for authentic fantastic Indian restaurant, I highly recommend Sanjeevani Indian Cuisine whether you're a seasoned lover of Indian food or trying new tastes, this place offers something for everyone. I'll definitely be returning soon!
Pricing is fair for the quality and quantity of food, and the portion sizes are generous. Whether you're dining with...
Read moreWould not advise to order any of the north Indian dishes here, ordered 4 items and 3 fell flat.
Let's start with the good one, Gobi Manchurian, it came out hot and fresh, had a nice crisp to it and had a mild ketchup type flavor. I'd say it's worth a reorder. What did not work was the Saag Paneer, absolutely atrocious to have a watery Saag almost the consistency of what most would call "slop" definitely would not recommend as it not only did not look the part but also did not taste good either. Avoid at all costs. Also speaking of cost it's $15 on average for most entree items, would you want to pay $15 for something that is very subpar?
We ordered the butter chicken and if anything the gravy of the dish was by far the best thing that came out of the kitchen but the chicken of the butter chicken was horrendous. You can clearly tell that then chicken is from a different dish entirely and was simply thrown into the gravy at the last minute to heat it up. The chicken was incredibly dense and had the chew of jerky. It's a common issue at a lot of Indian restaurants as it helps them cut costs by increasing their flexibility in the kitchen being able to make food vegetarian/non-vegetarian on the fly but it severely cuts into the culinary experience. Lastly, we ordered 2 garlic naans, nothing too crazy about these, you can tell that they do not use a tandoor oven or if they do use a tandoor it was definitely not in use the day we came. Naan is usually pillowy and soft, ours was tough and crispy weirdly. We told the staff that the Saag Paneer was not good and their response was that "people say we have the best Saag Paneer" which is...
