Update to the ābad loungeā ā¦ā¦Leaders unprofessional solution of painting a lounge chair in an attempt to make it like the others we paid for has resulted in a lounge chair that is not only the wrong colour frame, wrong colour sling but now the paint is peeling off. I want everyone out there to be warned not to trust Leaders to deliver sale merchandise from their warehouse in good condition. What you see on the floor is NOT what you actually get. And remember - they will not send you a replacement OR refund your money. You will be stuck with that damaged sale merchandise! Hard to believe they are so lacking in customer service once they have your money.
I waited a few months to post this review to give Leaders Furniture an opportunity to make things right. Sadly, they did not. In the Fall I bought four lounge chairs on sale. They had a sample of each colour in the show room and I chose the brown color. On delivery day, only three lounge chairs arrived. They said they had trouble finding the fourth chair, but it would come. After about a week it did come, but that lounge chair was a different color, it was very greyed out and broken! The back of the chair is missing the hardware to keep it in place.
I thought, okay, I will call them, and Leaders will make it right, which was their first inkling to do so. However, things changed, and they informed me that because these items were on sale they are considered "final sale." Now, I can understand having a final sale policy on sale items. What I cannot begin to fathom is how they can deliver an item that is discoloured and broken, and put that on me, saying, too bad, final sale. Huh?????
I spoke with every level of management up to their head office, and they all had the same response for me, final sale, regardless of the condition that fourth lounge chair was in. I suspect when they were looking for that fourth chair, they found it in an old return bin and thought they would ship it to me and slap a final sale sticker on it.
I still can't quite believe this happened. They would not even supply the missing part to fix the broken chair. This was a big expenditure for us, at $1300. If I could afford it and manage it, I would deliver that broken chair to the front door with a big sign on it, saying, "Beware of final sale!"
Fast-forward a few months later and, one day after I posted my Google review they called me to assure me they are going to make this right. So they picked up the chair painted the frame an off colour not matching the good three lounges, and it looks like itās painted, and replaced the sling with yet again! the wrong colour sling - instead of being too gray it is now too brown. I only have so much energy so Iām hanging this one up and chalking it up to experience. Iāve bought some nice lounge cushions that will cover up the memory of how I feel cheated by...

Their showroom is huge and I was thrilled when I found just what I had envisioned! Nick gathered all the info on the Kokomo pieces we were interested in and we went home to check measurements and to get an idea of what would fit where; the planner on their website is awesome! When we went back a couple of days later, Nick patiently helped us make decisions on a few of the pieces we weren't sure about and took down our order. By the way, Nick, those were excellent suggestions. Because our cushions needed to be "custom" made, we had to wait a bit for our order to come in, but it was well worth it. The delivery men were professional and showed us how to lock the sectional pieces together once we were ready to lock them in. We even received a follow-up call from Nick to make sure we were satisfied and to see if we had any questions. Our interactions with Nick were perfect: he wasn't pushy, he didn't hover, and yet he was always available to answer our questions. And, as a bonus, he has a great sense of humor and made the entire shopping experience fun. Yup, that's right, I actually said FUN! I can't say enough positive things about our entire experience with Leaders Furniture and Nick. Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn early May, we ordered an entire living room set of 5 pieces from the Islamorada line plus a set of 4 matching bar stools. After doing some comparison shopping, we discovered that the total cost was far less than a comparable order from other stores in the area. So, not only are we thoroughly satisfied with the cost, we are equally satisfied with the quality, comfort and service we received. The greatest advantage with this furniture is that should the time come when we need a change, we can simply select a different fabric, order replacement cushions & keep the frames. The order was completed in groups over 5 months. The only drawback to any of the pieces is with the cushions on the couch. The bottom cushions are not tied to the frame so anytime someone sits on them, they slide out from under the top cushion and have to frequently be pushed back in. A simple change at the factory to the detail of the cushions would be sewing in ties so they stay put. Otherwise the seats are well made and very comfortable. Oh, and one other small thing; no matter how many times we were told they would call us when some part of the order was in, we never received a call. We had to call them frequently over the five months around the times of the expected deliveries to see if our order had arrived. However, they were extremely accommodating when we made a change to the order midstream. Overall, the experience was a very satisfying one and we will definitely do business...
