Marcus Office Furniture World — Attraction in Miami Springs

Beware : Based on my experience with this company .. Incredible how companies now a days do buisness . I went to this establishment last week … I asked for two quotes but their prices were to high .. both quotes received were on glass tops as I mentioned in the store to the salesman I was not interested in wood because I found glass more appealing as all my home furniture has glass and this would be a piece for my home. At that point I left and a few days later the salesman calls and states he is able to lower the cost of the desk I saw to $1,200 and if I wanted Saturday delivery it would be $350 .. to me it made since because before leaving the store a few days before I had mentioned I would offer $1,600 delivered .. in this case with taxes and delivery of product I was looking at $1,658.50 … so it was very close to what I mentioned in the store. Upon delivery prior to the driver unloading he mentions the desk being all wood which puzzled me because I expected the glass desk I walked in to the store and saw. Immediately I tried calling the store but no one would answer , then the driver calls and they answer him. They tried telling me the desk I ordered was all wood and I immediately interrupted and said no what I saw in the store and what we spoke about and what I sent in the quote was glass .. I was even specific and attached the picture in the quote .. yes the desk has wood parts but the top is glass … A gentleman claiming to be the owner answers and said he knew exactly who I was and the type of person I was . Not sure what he was trying to imply since I never saw him in the store nor did I ever speak with him. He follows by saying he will not return any funding and if he were to refund anything he would add all the restocking. I disagreed and followed by saying why would you charge me any restocking for something I did not order. I was clear in the store and clear on the quote I signed. Till this day I have not received any sort of funding back and owner continues calling me stating he wants me to retract the reviews online or he will try and do a lawsuit .. So the one not returning my money is now calling and harassing and threatening. This is unheard of and everyone needs to know how this buisness treats clients.
