PIZZILLO Pizza Pasta — Restaurant in Florida

My wife ordered two gluten free pizzas (GF Montonara and GF Caprese) on April 7, 2024 which was supposed to be ready at 5:45 PM. and while past orders we on point. One order of the two today was incorrect. The pizza was missing sausage and had a pool of pesto sauce which was not part of the order. I returned to the store shortly after receiving and explained the incorrect pizza. The cook immediately apologized and offered to fix it and I brought my concern about the first pizza being cold when he’s done. The girl in the front with the dyed light brown hair with a reddish tint shrugged it off without care and was saying nothing then can do. I then stated that’s not right since I did pay 50 dollars for both of these I don’t want one cold and one hot…no care was given by the girl but the male cook was nice and concerned for my food. I was getting irritated at the attitude and said they can either refund me and I walk away and they keep a customer OR refund the 50 dollar order of two GF pizzas and take the pizza and I don’t ever come back. The girl got mad and picked up the pizzas with force and angrily slammed it on the work bench next to her and said we will remake both pizzas and stomped off. I didn’t appreciate the tone, attitude, and the drastic choice of making both when I have already waited long enough for the pizzas to be ready (at pickup time the pizzas weren’t ready which I understand given the influx of orders). I then stated that because of the attitude I don’t want anything, to refund me and I’m never coming back. The girl continued her attitude, told the cook to stop, and then proceeded to refund me while stating “just because you had a bad day doesn’t mean you it’s okay to be like this” I then replied saying “I’m having a great day actually but I just don’t appreciate the attitude”. I patiently waited for the receipt and when I received it I said in a neutral tone “have a nice day” she replied with a sarcastic attitude and fake smile and I will capitalize her emphasis where she raised her tone “ have a BLESSED day, may god bless you” in a very very sarcastic tone. I did mention this issue will be included in the review and she yelled to add it. I did enjoy pizzilio in the past but I refuse to come here if the service comes with behavior like this when something goes wrong. Been here 3 times. First time about a year ago I bought a Chef Gianca and a Hawaiian i believe which were both good. Specially the Gianca one. As others have stated some of the prices for certain items are a bit outrageous. Spent over 50 on those 2 pizzas which I believe we ordered small and a dessert. The pizza crust could most definitely be better. Its just not soft enough. If it gets a bit cold its terrible. You must eat it fully warmed up. Now the second time I went ordered the Tuesday special. A pepperoni and Margherita I believe.. and wasnt impressed. It was very sub par. I guess since theyre half off the quality is lower? Some months went by and I forgot how the pizza wasnt great last time. Gave it another chance and gotta say I probably wont try anymore.

Called in to pick up 2 pizzas one pepperoni, one ham & mushroom from the "Tuesday special" again. Lady said she didnt have ham so I said ok just sub it for italian sausage. She said ok. I come in to pick up and shes charging me 4 extra dollars for the ham & mushroom pizza because she subbed what she didn't have.. which isnt my fault. Said she "couldn't ring it up that way" and acted as if 12 to 16 dollars isnt a difference to substitute an ingredient she didnt have 😂 acted like if I was crazy for not thinking that made sense. Not great customer service. (Sorry I didnt spend 50$ on 2 pizzas like the first time..) So I just cancelled that and only took the pepperoni. I brought it home, my gf tried it and asked me if I was sure it wasn't Cicis pizza lol. Yes she really said that... Anyways 2 stars because I enjoyed the first pizzas I ate there a year ago and service was good. Nowadays the pizza and service...

I love supporting small businesses and paying their price as long as i feel it is worth it. Today it wasn't the case, food was ok but overpriced. Pizza was good, chicken wings were just exactly like the ones from pizza hut but 2x smaller still. The pasta was the worst, first the serving was in the smallest bowl they could find, no flavor, not creamy, and the chicken i think they bought chicken tenders at McDonald's, chopped into pieces and called it chicken alfredo. And the beers 7 dollars for a beer!!! I pay this at clubs where I'm sitting and with music ( pay the experience) here i was sitting in a 2 feet long table outside on the sidewalk where we couldn't even fit our food. Order pizza to go and don't bother for the rest. Not worth $80..( i only tipped $ because you order at the front and we grabbed our own beer from the mini freeze, only thing server did was bring the food once and we never saw him again). The most i would've pay was $40. I never send food back or ask for discounts but today was the first day i came close to doing both...but i didn't i just won't come back for that price.
