Pasteles Edward Miami — Restaurant in Miami Springs

I was going to grab a snack near by but I saw Pasteles Edward which is nestled in a strip mall hidden away. When I checked google I saw a bunch a good reviews about their Venezuelan empanadas, tequenos, and papa con queso. When I walked into this busy little restaurant I knew I made a good choice. A lot of locals were going in and out of the place which is always a good sign.

This place has delicious Venezuelan food! Definitely pick a little of everything since their stuff is delicious. I got tequenos, papa con queso, and ham con queso. In the pic is the tasty papa con queso. Come check this place out!

It was pouring down rain and needed to use the bathroom, I walked in and despite one person being ordering at the counter ,the staff young lady acknowledged me right away, that’s a first good impression.Finished my thing. Ordered 2 Pasteles de Carne and the young lady Leti right away “said you’re going to love them,they are delicious and you’ll be back. She was a prophet and right a hundred % . The food was pretty good, love the Venezuelan food, you might have to ask others for sauce, because sometimes its all used in one space, I don't reccomended bringing a lot of people, it is a small place and well, not a lot of seats obviously. The ambience is fine, maybe a bit loud but if youre fine with hearing Spanish a lot, music like Salsa and all, then go for it. The staff is pretty kind, at least for me, I can speak Spanish fluently.
