National Institutes of Health — Attraction in Bethesda

Extremely unprofessional and entitled “security”, refused to provide their names for complaints. Deny entry to a non-driver for not presenting a drivers license-(did provide government issued identification that is valid per security website until policy changes on 7 May 2025) yet I watched others gain entry without a driver’s license and with other forms of government issued identification Never did anyone inform me my identification was not an authorized form of identification, and upon further research on nih.security website my form identification IS still valid for NIH access until 7 May 3025. All every one of them stated was they needed my driver’s license so they could scan it. Never did anyone state they couldn’t accept my primary id or alternative identification methods to a driver’s license.

Yet the security personnel do nothing about vehicles blatantly blocking entry and exits on surrounding roads. Maybe doge needs to take a look at the funding for these unprofessional security contracts and hire actual...

Chloe and her staff of card activation, as well as customer care are highly under trained and very slow at handle customs request, comprehension of request and desired task. My 3 hour experience was hell where both keeps pointing the blame and just want to keep transferring you till its time to head home. The NIH / card services activate to deactivate to send you back and fourth. By far the worst service at a credit union I EVER EXPERIENCE!! will be closing the account. PLS keep you're apologize as to i will be complaining in person come Monday morning...

The facility entrance is directly across the street from (Walter Reed - North Wood Dr). There is a NIH police vehicle that sits directly at the entrance of CVIF.
