This is the kind of local place that makes you say, "how come I never knew this was here?!". The Natural History Society of MD has a collection with serious heft and yet it is still unknown to many locals. Take a friend to explore the incredible taxidermy and artifact collections or enjoy their hands-on, high quality programs (offered to adults, families, or children). Some of the best naturalists in and around Baltimore frequent this place and volunteer their time to lead programs that are top notch and extremely affordable. If you have a specific interest, they have clubs like the Lepidoptera club and Fossil club with guided area trips that often fill right away. We have a membership to help them support their good work preserving and teaching about natural history - I highly recommend you consider a visit and...

Wonderful! I will be checking out their website to see what's...
