Nest Proper Boutique — Attraction in Hyattsville

I have nothing but the highest accolades for this business. Unique and luxurious clothing items. Shawls from Scotland, beautiful capes, dresses and sweaters, etc... I also love their beautifully crafted "Hyattsville" cocktail and wine glasses which I purchased for our dear friends in England. They still rave about them! Another plus is their knowledgable and friendly staff. Whether it is incense, body lotion or a unique piece of clothing you're looking for, they'll always be most helpful. And don't forget some of their larger items such as unique, funky furniture! Nest Proper has it all!

Here in the Hyattsville Arts District we live by "shop local, small businesses." Nest Proper is the epitome of this ideal and their expertise and care tops the bill! 5/5 stars Nest proper is one of the most lovely shops in the metroplex area. Although it is not in DC proper, you could easily mistake it for an upscale boutique in Georgetown or Bethesda. The staff is always warm and welcoming and they never disappoint with their new inventory of candles, home decor, pottery and local artisan offerings. Every time I shop there, it smells amazing and the playlist gives me such a chill vibe. It's a cozy space but anyone could spend a great deal of time just perusing each carefully curated item. I recently purchased a candle from a local maker and a signed copy of a book by a local author who had her book signing there). If you love a well-curated and carefully crafted boutique with a good vibe and love supporting local women and artists, this then is surely your go to spot in the DMV.

I love the energy Nest Proper! Their wallpaper and store is just a whole vibe! They have variety of items from high quality candles that smell amazing and last! It's a one stop shop for thoughtful gift collection items that vary from handmade jewelry, art pieces and you can even pick out one of their original gift cards! They even have a clothing consignment section that offers various and diverse pieces. This is the perfect upscale store that Hyattsville's neighborhood needs!
