Great beack to visit i loved this place and the sand is awsome here along with the super super clear water. This place is something you would see on a post card. We cant believe how nice this place is. We also went up and across the road to a mexican restaurant it is was also super good. The beach was not crowded the people seamed nice and everybody was having a great time. This beach is good for any age person from kids to adults. The water is un-real for a lake. I have been going to lakes all my life and i have never seen a lake with water this clear. The only place i have seen water this clear was in Saint Thomas. Ok when you go to Nevada Beach and Camp ground do not go to the beach and park. Im pretty sure you got to pay the gentleman that was standing in the road told us they was full and to turn around. We went back up on the street where everbody else was parking and thats where we parked. They have a small blacktop trail that you walk back down to the beach through these hugh pine trees. They have more pine cones there than you could haul home. Hundreds of trees. They are the ponderosa pine cones and them are not the biggest ones there. They are some that are at least a foot long or longer. Hugh pine cones. I hope you get the chance to visit this beach it is really a great place to visit. We had a blast and cant wait to come back and stay longer. If my review helps you in any way can you PLEASE leave me a thumbs up like on my...

if you expect any level of professional hospitality, don't hold your breath. Firstly, the lady who checked us in forgot to hand me a paper to apply to the post which led to an old man harassing my wife. When attempting to get the paper from their office we were told we misplaced it, they implied we were liars when I said I hadn't gotten a second piece of paper (40 minutes prior), the lady raised her voice at us (two very obvious adults) and then proceeded to throw a weird hissy fit. At one point I exclaimed "Jesus Christ" out of frustration and then the old lady from earlier said "I gave them both slips, should we just kick them out?!" I mean she admitted not only that I was 1. A paying customer, but also 2, already checked into the campsite. I mean the mental bounds there ... They made an entirely unecessary dramatic situation over a small piece of paper. All on my son's birthday too so don't expect nice, and if you get it then be appreciative I guess. I mean I won't be going back.

Pros: clean, close to the lake, flat, bathrooms, large and small campsites. Close to amenities and food.

Cons: cold summer winds, fridgid temps at night. No showers, for the high cost to camp there you would think they would get some showers. Camp was dead silent at 10pm (this may be a pro to a lot of people but not me, not on a holiday weekend.) Proximity to the highway and all it's...

Beautiful place ruined by bad management and poor customer service. The personnel in charge of the site are quite rude. On our first morning we were inquired in a quite bad manner about a missing piece of paper that they forgot to handle to us during check-in. I’ve tried to show my confirmed reservation on the Recreation app, but they refused to see it and kept insisting on the piece of paper that I didn’t even know that I should have received. Besides, I noticed my name with the site I paid for on the printed reservation list they were holding and pointed the fact out, but they simply said it is not relevant as it’s for check-out. ??? I seriously don’t understand the logic and intention here. Instead, they interrogated us like we entered illegally. Also, on the last day they suddenly requested us to leave at 11am by yelling at us “are you leaving or not”, despite that the information on the reservation system says check-out until noon. Their explanation was that the check-out time differed from the usual that day, while no staff told us in advance and many other campers were still there. We felt pretty disrespected and very poor...

We absolutely loved our 10-day stay at Nevada Beach Campground! Even though it’s just minutes from South Lake Tahoe, it still feels wonderfully peaceful and surrounded by nature. You get the best of both worlds — the stunning Lake Tahoe shoreline, the sandy stretch of Nevada Beach, and the forested beauty of the Lam Watah Nature Trail right nearby. The dog-friendly beach was a highlight for us — it was great to relax by the water and see so many happy four-legged friends enjoying the lake too. And the sunsets here? Simply unbeatable. A big shoutout to Manager Adam and his amazing crew — Janet, Mike, Chris, Tammy, and Randy. They clearly take pride in their work. Every campsite is freshly raked and spotless before guests arrive, and the bathrooms are always clean and well-maintained. It can be tough to get a reservation, so plan ahead and book six months in advance if you can. We stayed in Site 29, which offers a bit more privacy and shelter from the wind — highly recommend it if you prefer a quieter, more tucked-away spot. Can’t wait to come back to this beautiful campground!

Nevada Beach is a beautiful and scenic beach that offers a wonderful escape. While parking can be a challenge, the lack of crowds and the gorgeous setting make it a worthwhile destination. Just be prepared for a potential walk from your parked car and the refreshing cold water. Social Media isn't vocal enough about this place yet. So come visit and enjoy it before it is too late. Since it doesn't get a lot of attention, Nevada Beach is a great choice for those who prefer a quieter experience compared to other, more popular beaches around the lake. They do offer multiple Solutions for parking. There is a paid parking lot and parking along the road that provides a free alternative. Both are safe to walk to the beach or to your vehicle. There is picnic tables, Beautiful trees and a beautiful trail to walk. You should have no issues about feeling unsafe. Law enforcement is never far.

You really have to work at getting a campsite here; but, it is worth the effort. What did I enjoy the most at Nevada Beach Campground? The proximity to the beach and the beautiful surroundings. The staff is first rate. They clean and rake each site daily. I was very impressed with their stewardship. They really work hard, so be kind and clean up after yourself. Great beach. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. If you can stand the ice cold water, go for a swim. I did. It was worth the drive up from Phoenix just for that. I've never enjoyed swimming more. All in all, I throughly enjoyed my 4 night stay. There are several good restaurants very close. Safeway is close. I spent my swimming time at Sand Harbor. Remember to pre book for parking at Sand Harbor or just stay at Nevada Beach. I swam there last night. Wonderful. Cheers!
