He serves on the Board of The Tahoe Art League as President and has raised money for local organizations such as Live Violence Free and scholarships such as the Tahoe Art League High School and College Art Student Scholarships, and The Lake Tahoe Pride Equality Scholarship offered through Lake Tahoe Community College. He is a master in his craft and his personality shines through his art!! We unexpectedly and immediately fell in love with Scott's magnificent, fun, modern, 'vibey' art when we walked into Scott's gallery in South Lake Tahoe. After months of searching in San Diego, Laguna Beach, and all over Tahoe for art for our second home in Tahoe, we went to Scott's gallery hoping just to find one that spoke to us. The few pieces he had on display were so alluring that we wanted to experience more. So, Scott took us to his second much larger gallery in the Lisa Maloff University Center where many of his large scale paintings grace the walls. In awe with what we were witnessing, we were immediately drawn to many of his pieces. We selected two to take home and 'try' on our walls. As soon as Scott held the first piece on the wall, we knew we found the piece we had been looking for! Masterful! We were just looking for one for the living room, but the other was equally as captivating as the first, we decided to purchase the second piece for our bedroom as well! We observed a small rip on one of our favorite pieces of art. The art piece was at our Townhome in South Lake Tahoe. We did not know anyone in the Tahoe area that did art restoration. We saw Scott Forrest’s art gallery sign while driving up highway 50. We called and met Scott Forrest at his gallery. Scott promised to have it repaired in two weeks and at a very reasonable price. When we returned to Scott’s gallery two weeks later to pick up our art piece we were blown away when we saw the finished work.
