Overall, we had a great time. It's definitely VERY busy. We went at the end of July. There are so many sites that it is tight on the roads. You definitely need a golf cart to get around daily. The pool was packed, and it was soooo hot that both the pool and ocean weren't that refreshing. It was like a Disney resort in the way of busy. Everything was very clean, though.

Stood in line at cash register for 5min and was ignored. Plenty of workers there they were focused on online orders. Not me and my wife or the other couple who had been waiting longer than us in line. That's my wife being ignored in pics!

This our second visit, the first we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy it all. To make the most of it your have to participate in many activities! Our must from Ocean Lakes are; -Kids Kamp ($) -Kids Pizza Night ($) (Tuesday are best with the show) -The staff that are in the recreational center, pearls each of them especially the crew at the camp. Such a plus for the place I hope they get a big pay check šŸ’° -Ceramics ($) you only pay for the piece you choose so you can enjoy painting for 2 hours on a 3$ piece! -Tie-die($) -Pools (although the water gets blurry fairly quickly) -Beautiful sand on the beach -Landscaping: just wow for the gardening crew!!

The downs: -Oh my lord its crowded, people everywhere all the time! At fist we were discouraged by the traffic jam with the golf cart especially at night, but then found put its an activity people do for high fives and candies (not covid approved ha!) -The fireworks, people do them whenever from dawn until like midnight. Being a mom of young kids that’s aggravating! Not forgetting all the pollution left on the beach for the next day šŸ˜– -Again with the noise, people’s very very loud music on golf carts or campsite… I wondered if I did the same super early if I would get complaints?! Anyhow some people are rude are mindless about others… this is a family place not an adult only party place. -The front office staff is helpful but every time we asked for something outside the usual, I felt like I was annoying or too demanding, which I am not! So being more receptive and empathetic could help for that crew. -Teens driving carts, NOT respecting the limit (10mph). I often did not feel safe for my kids to be out of reach on the streets. I wish the security team would be more present for that matter, especially near the beach and the little streets leading to the pool. Hopefully we come again and the...

This is a busy little neighborhood market grocery store. Parking is definitely a tight squeeze once you get passed the labyrinth parking lot surely built by NAMCO, the makers of PAC-MAN. Like every other Walmart there are long wait times in the lines, especially here. Catering to all the hungry bbq'ers nested up in Ocean Lakes campgrounds. Again I reiterate, crowded store located also offa 544, which is a crowded conjunction rd. I would suggest a mobile pickup service to reduce your wait time. Enjoy...

Even though I have only ate from here one time I would highly suggest that anyone who visits Myrtle Beach, SC should try these delicious doughnuts. If you have never been to a doughnut shop like this, and are a doughnut lover you will really appreciate stopping by here. The doughnuts are made to order, from batter, to fillings and/or toppings, and you get to oversee the entire process. It is a perfect places to bring your young children also. I...
