I used to think this was the best pizza. But the last 4 times I have come not only is the pizza is cold but the customer service is horrible. I asked for the lunch special and add toppings and ask to have melted cheese and Ohio style after willing to pay for the extra cheese. Ask if I had time to go to Walmart to get a cold drink to have my pizza because they don’t have cold drinks. The machine was broken for over a year and your forced to get the bottle drink in the refrigerator that doesn’t work well either and there is no ice to make up for it either. Anyway, he said yes I would have time to go to the store and the pizza would take 10 min. I told him incase I’m not back do not put it in the box leave it on the tray. I’m allergic to cardboard. So I come in and the pizza is handed to me in a box I paid 19.58 for 4 slices gave specific instructions and she said well we can’t put in the warmer in the tray and when people order for here they wait for it. There were three tables waiting for their pizza before I ordered and that’s why I asked if I can run next door to get a cold drink. He should of said no. And her excuse about the box was that he didn’t know. Well your employs should be trained better. And she didn’t apologize once. And proceeded to give me a tray so I can take the pizza out of the box myself. When I told her I was alérgica to cardboard. And she acted like it was too much for her and made me feel like it’s all my fault she doesn’t have an once of customer service in her. She just wants to sit in a corner with white headphones on listening or doing what ever she is doing on the device. But it’s not working. And she is getting paid for that. That is a darn shame and totally unacceptable. And now I will not be returning. The cheese on top was refrigerator cold, so what warmer did the pizza go in...

We picked this restaurant ( order was online and to go) because it was right across the street from where we were staying. As soon as you walk in the door, the girl working had a terrible attitude. It was 1pm on a Friday and not busy whatsoever. She gives me the order and when I get to my vehicle I noticed I did not get the garlic knots that I had ordered. So I went back in and told her I had ordered garlic knots and she stated "she didn't see that, but they don't have garlic knots anyways so she will have to give me a refund." After clicking on the tablet she goes to walk away so I asked her if she issued the refund and she turned around and very hatefully said she "had to call slice". I don't know if she said that the first time and I didn't hear her or what. She made the phone call and then slammed the phone down and said it has been issued. I never leave these kind of reviews on Google bc I know how important they are to businesses, but the lack of customer service was so disappointing to me. The pizza was really good, but like other reviews, the crust was extremely hard. We visit MB often and can honestly say we will not be back, Hopefully like others, people will visit and get both good...

I don’t at all understand the high ratings especially if you’re from ny/nj. I figured maybe I’d get lucky with the higher ratings but just as I thought only worse really. They didn’t even put it in the oven to heat it up… just out the display onto tray. It was really oily but not that perfect amount of oil on pizza up north, that saturated type oil bc the pepperoni wasn’t cooked enough & it’s been sitting. I like crispy pepperoni… this was barely cooked… just enough for the oil to express. A little oil is good but not when you use twenty napkins to mop it up & it’s still greasy. Crust was not crispy or have that nice bite to it. Oh & there was no Parmesan cheese!!! How do you have a pizza place without cheese??!! Also fyi you need to put rice in with your other spices down here so they don’t turn into bricks. They wick the moisture away from the spice into the rice. I don’t see how it’s so hard to make a decent pie. I went in with lower expectations but was still let down from that. I think I’ve run out of places to go out to eat… they’re all awful. If you’re a self respecting northerner with good taste in food don’t waste your time. The lady in there was very nice. That’s the most positive part...

My wife and I grew up in the Ohio Valley eating DiCarlo’s pizza. DiCarlo’s is the original Ohio Valley style pizza. As a kid, we used to get it from DiCarlo’s original store in Steubenville. This isn’t quite authentic but pretty close and the closest thing to authentic Ohio Valley style pizza in a few hundred miles. So we come to this restaurant fairly often. If you order it “Ohio Valley style “ they’ll add cold cheese and pepperoni after it comes out of the oven but they cook it with cheese on it. Ohio Valley pizza is confusing to people who aren’t used to it. (We heard one guy say he never had “raw pepperoni” before). So, if you want Ohio Valley style pizza, this is the closest you will find in several hundred miles. As an aside, if you’re from the Ohio Valley, they have a lot of local high school jerseys here. They even have my old high school. It’s a little slice of the Valley. UPDATE - Spring 2024.- DiCarlo’s MB is gone. It’s now New York Pizza. One of a thousand NY style pizza places. So sad.

As a native New Yorker I have found that this pizza comes with a side of attitude. For me to say that You must know it’s bad. The first time I came here, I walked in and they were very rude and told me that they weren’t ready to serve people yet. Now, about a month later, I walked in to find one worker who didn’t know how to break a smile or treat a customer. Not a good thing for a tourist area. The pizza did not have enough sauce and was heated only to lukewarm. The garlic powder they offer is solid as a rock. I guess they haven’t figured out the humidity Here is not going to work very well leaving a big container on the table open If you order online versus coming in the store, expect to pay about 15% more EDIT: 8-24-25 - I went back to see if it got better. It didn’t. The sauce to cheese ratio is off. The slices are small and are $4. I won’t be back a third time.

I’m so Happy to have a Ny!! By the slice PIZZA!! I’m a Native New Yorker who has been living in the Carolinas for almost 27 years! I’m a hands down Pepperoni Crispy Slice Woman and this did not disappoint! To be completely honest maybe a tad thicker than most Ny Slices that is not a bad thing and definitely smaller sized slice..BUT THE TASTE WAS GREAT! The Owner was so nice! Gave me that crispy crunch perfect char on the bottom! Perfect! The two slice special with a drink was a good tasty and plentiful bite. Man I’m ecstatic to have this option here in Myrtle! Way to go guys Thank you so much for bringing some of my original Home here to my Beloved New Homestead The Carolina’s❤️ Myrtle Beach come on through and give these delicious bites a try! I haven’t had that crunch and flavor in a while I’m one satisfied lady! See you soon I’ll be back!
