This is a cute little riverside park in Old Homosassa. Amenities include picnic tables, grills, and plenty of shade. It's a nice spot to have a picnic on the waterfront or just river watch for a spell. The Wild Sassa Food truck and Shelly's seafood market are located within the park and working waterfront. ↪️ Playground with swings and slides ↪️ Porta potty on site ↪️ No swimming ↪️ Bank fishing is possible. ➡️ Future plans for improvements include a fishing pier.

Update , they added swings and a nice huge slide! Nice little play area that's fenced in. The only scary part for me is the ladder going up and down to the tower for my 2.5 year old it's a little advanced. A great addition to Homosassa, I'll be back. Also, someone forgot to drill a screw so I'll bring my drill next time. I didn't see a restroom though.

My kids LOVE this park, and I am just tickled pink by the fact that the Homosassa Civic Club are constantly updating and adding to the park. I especially love the creative design of this park, which includes a simulated lighthouse and shrimp boat. I would love to see something similar in Crystal River where the wooden park once stood!

Update , they added swings and a nice huge slide! Nice little play area that's fenced in. The only scary part for me is the ladder going up and down to the tower for my 2.5 year old it's a little advanced. A great addition to Homosassa, I'll be back. Also, someone forgot to drill a screw so I'll bring my drill next time. I didn't see a restroom though.

The lighthouse slide and ladder is so dangerous. Please do not let your small children climb that two story metal ladder alone. The park would be perfect if only there was steps leading to the top or anything but a metal ladder inside a lighthouse where one wrong step leads to horrible injury or death. It’s also really hard for an adult to get in and out of the doorway at the top of the ladder so following your young child is...
