Poptronics Electronics — Attraction in Parkville

I had to start looking at custom sub woofer options in my car because I lost my rear stock sub woofer due to my suspension strut bar upgrade. Let just say it took forever for me to figure out who I wanted to do it.because of how anal I am about who works on my car. Its so hard to find the right person to do it right. I had two people in mind to do the install and obviously poptronics was one of them. I originally was only going to get a custom box done but then after talking to the guys at potronics I decided to go all the way with it, I knew what I wanted and new how I wanted it to look. Never the less I decided to use poptronics because the installer Matt seamed confident that he could complete the isntall the way I visioned it. I asked for a total what the job would cost and agreed to the price and asked when they could start. I didnt haggle with the price, I knew I wanted a top knotch install so I wanted to pay top dollar to complete it properly. We scheduled a date I droped my car off they had it for almost 4 weeks. They where doing other jobs in between my install which was fine but didnt seam that they where that focused to get my install done. To say the lease the system sounded good with the equipment I chose to put in but the over all look of the install was not great. They never put any screws back into my door panels so my panels where just sitting there. There where fiber glass droppings on parts of my car that I cant get of. I cant open my rear battery compartment because the wood rubs the front of my sub speakers. The job over all is not so bad but they knew from the beginnig I wanted it to be perfect. I just think they are so used to basic installations. I have taken the car back to get some things fixed and complained about these things but they made me feel like i was being a pain. Atleast thats what the young boys that work there made me feel like. they stated to me when I took it back that they got yelled at because of the price they gave me....NOT MY PROBLEM...I asked for a price you have it,,,Its one you from there. Now you lost a good paying customer and probably more with this review. I have decided to send my car and get it redone by a company that specializes in this type of work. I will be taken the next legal step to get my money back. Im so tired of people and companies doing crap work.

Do your self a favor use another car audio place..Poptronics is not a custom installer!

Droped my car off today 10-22-15, manager at the location on russel street knows what it takes to make things wright. They have my car now and I was told they will make it wright.

Stay far away! Notice how only 5 star reviews get a comment from the owner. If a person is unhappy there is no follow up by the owner to resolve the situation. I was an unhappy customer. I've never witnessed such incompetence hooking up a new stereo and speakers. It is a miracle my car did not catch fire. I had go back to them five times to get it right, and it died 2 years later. When I had the system troubleshooted after it went caput the other reputable business I took it too had a list of over 20 bad installation screw ups Poptronics did. The worst was not bolting in the passengers seat correctly by leaving out 2 bolts, and making it look like they were there. They said it was a miracle my car did not...

Not too familiar with the Auto part but the DJ gear section is cool! They have DJ mixers, controllers, speakers, subwoofers, cables, lighting, all that! The only thing is, and i dont know if this varies in locations, but the selection as far as brands is kinda limited. Not saying the brands they sell are bad, but, for instance the only speakers i saw were Alto and QSC. Thats a mean azz curve in quality and price. The one thing i love is they are willing to hook you up with pricing. (As long as its reasonable) i brought 2 25 ft xlr cables for $40 and they were at least $40 a peice retail. And dude was ready to sell ne a brand new, just released DJ controller for $100 less than retail! Go to PopTronics if...
