Parkville Crabs — Restaurant in Maryland

Seldom do I post a negative review about an establishment but feel compelled to do so in this case. I can empathize with the negative reviews concerning this place. I purchased a dozen crabs which were the worst crabs that I have ever tried to eat. I should have known better when I went to get the crabs and they were not hot, only warm. I arrived several minutes before I stated that I would be there. Quite honestly, I believe these crabs were reheated. The claw meat was extremely dry and hard. I will never purchase anything from here again. Good luck to those of you that do. I don't understand the positive ratings about this place. Maybe I hit it on a bad day but there seems to be others who have had the same experience I had to endure. I made the mistake of thinking that my experience might be in line with one of the good ratings....

Shameful Is A Understatement...I went to PARKVILLE Crabs believing I was giving a neighborhood crab shack its proper place since it has very high ratings. I experienced another disappointment, as the JUMBO CRABS I spent my hard on $$$ were I Counted 4 JUMBOS & 20 EXTRA LARGE CRABS. THIS IS WHERE THE BIG DISAPPOINTMENT COMES IN I TOOK PICS & RETURNING THE CRABS FOR THE RIGHT PRICE FOR THE RIGHT SIZE, YET WAS TOLD I DIDN'T KNOW CRABS & RETURNED MY $ ....$220.00 YET TO BE RETURNED. SO SAD,JUST WANTED WHAT I PAID FOR JUMBO NOT AT-LARGE. PEOPLE WATCH WHAT YOU EAT ESPECIALLY IF YOUR FROM MARYLAND "WE KNOW BETTER " I GREW UP ON CRABS ALL THE WAY FROM SOUTH- BALTIMORE, OR THE SPECIAL OCCASIONS IN EASTERN SHORE,FRESH CATCH FROM THE BAY BRIDGE. I ate at this establishment a few years ago and the crabs were not bad. I tried giving them another go but unfortunately they sold me crabs that smelled like ammonia. I am a pecestarian so I know what good crabs should smell like, I called the Manager (an older lady) she did apologize and agree to exchange them for fresh ones as long as I brought all crabs back including the ones that we're bad. I picked up the crabs and still again at least a dozen out of the 2 dozen smelled horrid. These also were not maryland crabs as they...
