Very happy with my experience today at this salon! It was my first time there, and they were very welcoming. I got a free beverage while looking for the right gel color. I got a gel manicure with a cat eye style, which means a magnetic polish is used that will create a double color or shine effect with a magnet. Gel manicure is 40 and the additional cat eye will be an extra 15, if you want to know pricing.

Crystal did my nails, taking the time to make sure I was happy with her design approach. Tony was very helpful and actually painted some samples for me to see variations in the cat eye design. He's very talented and has a good eye for artistic design.

There are some variations in language ability at the salon, and some customers may think negatively of coming to an establishment where English is not the primary spoken language. However, what I observed is that everyone who works at the salon helps each other, and the folks who are stronger English speakers assist those who aren't as confident. Please do not let this prevent you from coming here, because the staff are all so sweet and lovely. If you feel unsure, just bring some examples from Instagram, Facebook or wherever, and that will help. However, I will say that they are very confident when it comes to nail design! So, if you tell them what you want, they will pick it up quickly and may even paint some samples on the spot for you to see. Crystal is fluent in English, so ask for her if you feel more confident with an English speaker, but I recommend Tony for fancy nail art! Also, he's very sweet and accommodating!

Surprisingly, I have learned that the men at the salon are often the ones who do the complex nail design sets, so if you have long nails and want some intricate work done, ask for Tony!

If you want a fun manicure and pedicure someone who is sweet and friendly, I recommend Crystal, 100%. She can also pretty much do anything you ask, and she's very gentle with the cuticles, which I loved. Some folks can be aggressive with the nail tools, and she was so gentle, I didn't even notice.

I'm unsure of why there are some negative reviews here because I can honestly say I had the best experience here. Everyone was really friendly to me, the salon and equipment were all super clean, and I had a relaxing manicure experience.

I really wanted to like this place because it’s beautiful, spacious, and so close to where I am staying. I’ve been here 3 times. The second time was the worst but every-time was lacking. The service is subpar. The first time I got a pedicure and my feet were still rough, toe nails a little jagged. The second time I got a full set on my nails. They don’t know how to do a proper manicure. They don’t soak the fingers or have you wash your hands and they lotion them with all the dust from the nail application still on your hands. They pay no attention to the health of the skin on your hands. The tech didn’t seem to know what he was doing. I told them that this wasn’t a good manicure and asked Mena if the young man who did my nails was new. She said he wasn’t and that I made him nervous by watching him. I lost 5 nails in less than a week. They kept popping off! I returned twice to fix the nails which they did for free before I removed them myself on day 8. I should not have gone back for a third time but they are blocks away and I really wanted them to be good. While I was waiting the tech who did a bad job on my nails before was fixing another mistake he made for an unhappy customer. This last time I went was ok but still lacking. I had to file my toe nails that same night because they were catching on my blanket. My lashes had so much glue on them that they hurt my eyes. They do not do a good job. They’ll do an ok, subpar job that’s not inline with the price. It’s a shame because the shop is beautiful. They need more training....

I am always one to try and support new businesses in my area so decided to go to the Parkville location today to get a new full gel set. Before I went I had a friend show me a post on their facebook page that they had a grand opening special 30% off all services until 10/26/23 but as I was walking up to the building I noticed a banner hanging on their sign 20% off. I thought to myself something didn’t seem right but thought maybe the banner was for something else so when I go in I asked the young lady about the Facebook post and she answered me very rudely no there is no 30% off and when I pulled the post up right in front of her she refused to look at it and rudely walked away. Working in customer service for over 30 years that right there really didn’t sit well with me and I thought to myself I will not be doing any future business with them after today. When the guy finished my nails I asked him again about the post on Facebook and he completely ignored me. This place is very misleading in their promotions and feel they pull people in with these fake discounts but don’t grant them to the customer. I will not step foot back in this business when their actions showed that they will not put the customer first. One top of the rude customer service when I asked the guy to file the nails down some as they were very sharp and two nails had big chunks of dry acrylic underneath them but once again was ignored. Really was hoping for a great experience but unfortunately that was not what I received. Wish things could have...
