Pure Costumes — Attraction in South El Monte

Visiting from Texas, my family had plans to go to Medieval Times and my daughter wanted to cosplay for the occasion. So we drove to Pure Costumes warehouse after they opened to buy costumes to wear the same night. When we arrived, a woman greeted us at the door informing us that the warehouse was not open to the public but they offered same-day pickup online.

Now I prefer to try on costumes so we decide go to visit another Costume Store and doing so was a complete waste of time.

So I went online to Pure Costumes and selected the costumes but had trouble selecting same-day pickup. I gave PC a call and the woman explained that because my payment information was based in Texas, it would only allow for shipping. She told me to order the items and call back with the order number and she would manually switch my order to same-day pickup and refund me the amount I paid for shipping.

I ordered at 1:39pm and my order was ready for pickup at 1:49pm!

Now, I would have given a five star rating but the amount refunded to me for shipping was less than the amount that I paid.

Overall, Customer Service was great and my kids loved their costumes and I will more than likely order...

I was in desperate need of a costume last minute, and luckily was able to swing by here!

There's a huge selection at an affordable price compared to the major Halloween stores like party city and spirit!

Even more of a plus finding a costume on sale! Can't beat that! =)

During Halloween time, there's a bit of a long wait to try the costumes on since there's only one changing room. And there's a limit of 2 at a time. But everyone was friendly...

Needed a last minute mask for Yelp's Masquerade Ball. You can browse their catalog online and then call in to see if they have it in stock. If they do, you can pick it up within 10 minutes at their warehouse. Saves the shipping costs if you live local. And pricing is not bad too. Quality of the mask was really good. It's not one of those cheap ones you get from thrift stores.

Will definitely keep this on my places to go if I need a last...
