I purposely took my lunch break to go to Regency Theatre to pick up a popcorn container that was shaped like one of the face huggers in a jar from the movie alien. Got there and found the guy loading up an entire pallet into his truck. Went inside to ask and see if we could buy one. Found out the guy had just bought all of them, brought the entire movie theater out. That pallet he was loading up was the 100 that came in the last order. He even bought the one that they were selling up near the popcorn machines.
I go outside and get told I’ll see you at the comic book shop. Only $55.
That’s a $25 up charge. On something they know is wanted and rushed for. It was supposed to be an anniversary gift with a set of tickets sitting in it. All romantic like, the movie he first took me to.
One of the local comic book shop has all the face huggers in a jar because they bought them all, in one load, while everyone was at work. And before anyone could see the movie. Since it comes out tomorrow.
I hear kickbacks are a nice thing. The only reason I would think someone would sell a whole load at once. Dear Mr DM, I would look into this. You lost a lost of customers to AMC over this. It was posted on the local 411s and is known about. And a lot of people there say they haven’t seen the promised buckets in the past. Maybe see if they have done this before.

Read moreI'd give no stars if I could. I came here on election day since my kids had no school and I had the day off from work. But I was told we couldn't see the movie we came to see. Because my son wasn't "old enough" to see an R movie. In spite of my son being there with me, his mother. I requested to talk to the manager. The manager also insisted it was the "policy" to not allow kids into R movies. And I had thought AMC was bad, for not letting kids in to R movies after 6. AMC makes more sense at least, they explained that some people are bothered by young kids talking loudly or crying at movies. But Regal just straight up doesn't allow kids into R movies at all. Ridiculous. They had their mother their with them, and they were looking forward to the movie. It almost ruined their day. We had planned for weeks, on seeing a movie election Tuesday. Just to be sent away. Thankfully, Cinemark doesn't try to parent parents. We drove about 5 minutes away, to Cinemark, and they let us in with no problem, as any decent business should allow in a paying guest. This was my first time and my last time at the Newport News Regal theater. Never again. Regal lost me for good and I don't recommend them to anyone else. Unless they can get rid of their stupid "policy" of telling parents how to parent, telling parents what their kid can...
Read moreWhy are those seats so close together and so uncomfortable I know I'm 35 and I'm getting up there in age but I should not leave there with a stiff body. The popcorn was also decent but it was definitely the bottom of the barrel I guess because traffic is slow they don't pop fresh popcorn constantly or what I don't know what it is but it was okay it wasn't the greatest but it was okay. The portion sizes were huge so a large was like gigantic so I applaud them on the portion sizes and they offer free refills which is kind of cool too and makes me nervous because covet is still very much so real and people aren't the cleanliness; but to each his own I guess. The bathrooms were horrible, like I'm glad I was able to hold it till I got home cuz I would have been in trouble. The bathrooms were disgusting. I also know they can't help it that people are uncleanly, dirty, and have no home training but maybe between movies someone could pick up a little bit. It's sad you have to clean up after people and people don't respect your place of business but the Spilled Popcorn sticky candy on the floor and so the containers was a bit much. Other than that Regal is still Regal in a decent place to...
