I had never been to Uno's before, crazy right? If the menu seems too good to be true, that's because it is. I had already planned my meal before we even got in the car to leave. I was beyond excited and so was my husband!! Everything on the menu sounded amazing. Fast forward- we pull up and see the signs that it is in fact happy hour (yay!) AND KIDS EAT FREE ON TUESDAYS. We walk in, we're seated, our waiter promptly comes up and asks for our drink order. I asked him about the happy hour specials and he says that they only apply to the patio and the bar. The patio is covered so I asked if we could move to the patio, he says that it's been raining (it's pouring outside but the patio is COVERED) and it's probably wet. We obviously can't go to the bar with our two children, so we can't get happy hour drinks. I'm immediately irritated but still very excited for food. I ordered the double grilled cheese burger, which literally sounds like heaven. I have never felt so utterly shocked, disappointed, and ashamed of a damn grilled cheese OR BURGER in my life. The burger was tiny and looked dry and u seasoned, and the grilled cheese can't even be called that. It was bread that barely touched a grill or pan with one slice of unmelted, just sticky, piece of cheese on it. This was supposed to have two grilled cheese sandwiches as the buns. The cheese didn't cover either piece of bread, it wasn't oozy or delicious looking by any extent, it was an absolute disgrace to grilled cheese sandwiches. I literally sent it back and lost my appetite, didn't order anything else. I ate my loaded mashed potatoes, which were very good..and that was the only upside. My family boxed up their meals, we left, and we literally went to taco Bell for dinner. I will not return to Uno's under any circumstances and I'm sure that my family alone won't make any difference in not coming back, but just be aware that their food is not even worth getting excited over or paying for. I can't even fathom how someone could make a "grilled cheese" that sad and actually be willing to send it out...
Read moreYesterday, my family and I tried Unos for the first time. The food was decent, it took some time for it to get to our table after ordering. The children's pizza appears to be the same size, if not larger than the personal deep dish pizza. So for half the price I would suggest getting the children's pizza. The waitress wasn't aware of the rules of "KIDS EAT FREE EVERY TUESDAY." She said she had been working there for 2 months prior. So I understand. She also said that it was busier than normal to her. Which it didn't seem too busy based on all of the booths being empty around us, but I have never been, so I wouldn't know. The salt and pepper shakers were sticky, I would assume that they are never cleaned & the cheese and pepper shakers seemed dirty as well. Their sweet tea isn't too sweet, although they do offer free refills, which is nice. For a 36 dollar bill, we left a 5 dollar tip with our waitress. She said thank you, but didn't seem appreciative. We used cash and should have received around 50 cents in change back. But she did not acknowledge the change and walked past the table and went about her day. So considering it was only change, we left without making a big deal. Overall, we will try again another time. Hopefully certain things...
Read moreCame here for date night, because they had a promo. Went inside and waited for a short time to be greeted, and then shown to a table. Then about 7 to 10 minutes later, a server comes to greet us. Nice guy, but could not get our friends order right for anything in the world. After 45 minutes of waiting for our pizza, they bring my friend the wrong dessert with a small bug in the whip cream.... While this bug could have flew in for at taste at anytime during the transport of said cake, still the damage was done. Then to top that off it wasntw even the cake she ordered. Then when we finally got the pizza, it was so small we emden up leaving. If it wasn't for the server being so nice, we probably would have spoken with the manager like we would normally do but we thought it was just going to be a waisted effort. I haven't been to an UNO's Pizzeria in over ten years, and probably now won't be for another ten. And then the prices were so high, the promo was the only thing I wanted to try, just to see if it was worth it. Im not some disgruntled customer exaggerating exagggerating a story, this is exactly how it happened. I am going to hooters for...
