Tida Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Poquoson

I'm not from the area. Found this place when passing by to grab coffee and gas.

We carryout. Great and friendly customer service. They had the utensil already in the bag when we asked. Usually other places we have to ask in order for them to give. Here they had it ready and ask if we need more. They gave us soup base cup so the kids can eat rice in the car. Thank you. The reason why I have 4 stars is the calamari. Disappointed. Also we didn't dine in there to experience the whole thing. But really it's more like 4.5 stars :-)

Calamari (2 out of 5) Was chewy, tasteless. Not my taste. The sauce was good. Portion size is ok.

Fried rice (6 out of 5) My 2 and 3 years old and husband love love the dish. I usually don't eat fried rice or rice in general due to glucose but I couldn't resist and had couple of spoons after the initial taste. Generous portion. They were not stingy on the chicken. Highly recommended.

Thai ice tea (5 out of 5) So delicious!!!! My husband could have inhale the whole cup if I didn't snatch back from him. They were very generous with the portion also. Highly recommended.

Bottom line : i would recommend my family and friend to this place. I will be back here if I'm in the area or...

From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality—but what truly made our experience unforgettable was our server, Michelle.

Michelle was an absolute gem. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and friendly demeanor elevated our entire meal. She struck the perfect balance of being present without being intrusive, and her timing was impeccable. Every recommendation she gave was spot on, and you could tell she truly cared about making our evening special.

What impressed us most was how effortlessly she managed multiple tables while still making us feel like we were her top priority. She remembered every detail of our order and checked in just the right amount to ensure we had everything we needed. Even small touches, like her thoughtful conversation and genuine smile, made a lasting impression.

The food was fantastic, but Michelle’s service was the highlight of the night. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly loves what they do and goes above and beyond to create an outstanding dining experience. We will absolutely be back, and we’ll be requesting...

Use to love this place and have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars here, but recently came in with my father and mother to eat and had the worst food we've had there. I get the same dish every time and it wasn't right. Something was wrong with beef like it had been rotten or something. My dad felt sick afterwards and so did my mother. I called them after we ate there and informed them of our visit. I wondered as they just re-opened up after renovations if it was old beef or something. She stated no.

I informed her of the food we ate and asked them to refund that particular meal. Mind you out of the couple hundred visits there, I've never complained or asked for anything EVER. They declined my request and said there wasn't anything they would do. For someone who values small business and probably frequents the establishment 2 times a week, you would think they valued a customer more than they did. As such I decided to take my business elsewhere and no longer will be eating there, more on principle than anything. Hopefully they'll one day realize the importance of valuing...
