gonna try to keep this short. i think the employees maybe need to be paid better, some were super helpful and friendly, and a couple others quite miserable. Last night, Had 2 voucher tickets, have never used that kind of ticket before, walk up to the ticket check guy, i ask how we use these, he says you just go in to the movie, and told us it was theater 9, i said really? because that seemed too easy and he seemed to not care about anything, i should have looked for someone else who works there. we got popcorn and went to sit. now as the seats filled up (theater was full) i then realized we were the only people without assigned seat numbers. I go back outside to find a new ticket ripping person there (he was very tall with curly brown hair and freckles he was very helpful) i should have asked his name to thank him for the info. I explain the situation he said that we were misinformed and we had to redeem them at the counter. ended up waiting almost an hour, for the next showing because we had already bought popcorn and ubered there to see this movie. I ran into the guy who first told us the wrong thing he was on his phone infront of the entrance to the other showing , i said "excuse me im sorry to bother you", he looked up from his phone , and I said "i just wanted to let you know that the vouchers need to be redeemed at the concessions counter so you can get assigned seat numbers, in case anyone else asks you again." he very rudely said "yea?" as if he already knew that and was acting annoyed by me letting him know that. i did not mention at all how he wasted a lot of our time and i didn't complain about it. but yeah he was super rude. and he seemed like he just didn’t want to do his job? it seemed his coworker near by was sweeping and he was on his phone (i should have asked his name but he was not tall, kinda pale and had black curly hair and rude.) but the people at the concessions were super friendly as well as the blonde woman who seemed like a closing manager. this theater does have a bit of nostalgic quality to it which I enjoyed , hopefully doesn't get brought down by bad attitudes...
Read moreI spent over $60 on food for 2 and about another $40 for tickets totaling over $100 for 3 people. The movie sucked but that’s not the theatres fault. What is the theatre fault is that the seats are terrible, the AC doesn’t cool the theatre enough, it was warm, the popcorn was all crumbles the whole bag basically. Very disappointing. The seats need upgrading because they barely recline. It’s about be 2025 and this theatre feels like it’s stuck in the 90’s. Thank you for upgrading the food menu but the management totally forgot about the customers experience when watching the movie. All this and on top of that there where young kids in the movie theatre throwing “pop it’s” firecrackers on the floor making annoying popping sounds, and they wonder why adults end up going viral with these rude disrespectful kids that their parents paid for their movie tickets and food. I worked to hard to spend $100 for such a miserable experience. Please travel a few more miles to a better theatre. One that will appreciate your business, your money, and want to make you feel like you’re better watching a movie at the movie theatre than at home. This theatre reminds me of why I rather watch a movie at home than waste my time and money at an establishment that does not appreciate their customers. I wish I can bash this place some more but I won’t enough said from me. Money is not the issue, but if I’m going to spend $100 on food I definitely expect a return of $100 equivalent of a comfortable experience when watching a movie. I got a terrible experience and I wouldn’t come back even if it was free and I swear to you and everyone I...
Read moreMaybe I'm spoiled with awesome movie theaters in Saint Petersburg, FL and Ellijay, GA.
We purchased our tickets online and brought the receipt "code" and the qr code with us. The first 2 kiosks wouldn't work at all, the 3rd we wasted time at said there was a technical issue retrieving our tickets. The 4th which was in front of a service person said the same thing. We asked the ticket taker for help and she just told us which theater we were in and we could go ahead in, but we couldn't remember out seat #'s. Finally the service person helped and we got in. I needed to break a $100 bill at the concession stand. They had to get manager approval and make sure my bill was legit. I couldn't believe how involved and time consuming this process was (and I was once a bank teller). My change should have been $79.13. The cashier dropped a wad of cash on the counter in front of me.... So I had to count it out. The cash was right, but the couns were absent. When I asked about them she said she forgot and would need a manager to get it. I was so frustrated at this point that I just walked away. It wasn't worth the missing $.13. We were in theatre 17, and it was clean even with #s on the seats which was helpful. The seats were not reclining. That might be normal, but I personally haven't been to a theater in the last 5 years that hadn't progressed to them so I was surprised. The movie played well. Overall this particular theatre experience was very...
